Salman Khan remains number one for the India market though Shahrukh Khan has closed the gap after the huge bumper openings of Ra.One and Don 2. In the Overseas markets its a one man show after Ra.One and Don 2 while its also Shahrukh Khan number one Worldwide due to the mega opening of Don 2 in Overseas. The opening of Rockstar coupled with Ghajini going out of the system as its release was over three years ago puts Ranbir Kapoor ahead of Aamir Khan in third place.

Its not because of PR shahrukh is actully well known in the west. I asked my french freind in school one day who was watching srk's song that how does she know him and she replied who doesn't know him:) people who don't even know where is india located know who srk is. Salman got success from films which are tried and tested on indian audiance before atleast shahrukh has guts to try out new thing which he himself was not sure of. salman is superstar but SRK IS THE KING
In terms of acting Ranbir is the best then Amir and salman srk cant act. And popularity wise salman is bigger than srk. And Ranbir is new generations Rockstar. Give him long career like khans he will be untouchable.
Salman Khan has been up there for 1 year in comparison to SRK being up there for so many years and the thing is his 1 position will probably last one more year. Salman lacks superstar status.

SRK always comes #1 in the worldwide market and that's what makes him an international worldwide superstar. According forbes and newsweek, SRK is one of the biggest moviestars out there with a following of billions. Salman pleases the Indian masala market but is he a phenomenal actor like SRK and Aamir? No but I love them all and enjoy their films
what did hrithik do to beat ranbir? he made a multicast film which had good producer and director....allow his previous films now he is CRAP Ranbir will be always him

If Ranbir choose masala movie than he will be give bigger grosser than hititik, hitik is very hard working and already gives his best but Ranbir is effortless, Barfee will be better than Rockstar. He surprises consistencely.
