people of kolkata wanted this and they loved it!...wats ur problem, they neither take your money nor time so y r ur a$$ burning...this whole event was arranged by kolkata government and not by srk. people got entertain for free and also celebrated their city's win.
and if u want to lick aamir and salman's **** go to their posts.
btw wat did aamir achieved in life....cheated on wife, dis owned his own LOVE child, destroyed his brothers career, have police cases filed by his father and brother against him and what not...coming to his professional life then all his movies work because of great scripts and not by his STAR POWER....3 idiots is the biggest grosser indian movie but if u ask a non indian/paki who have watched the movie they wont be able to tell who the main actor was.
lol salman got a fat body thanks to steroids which he shows off day and night(and its not an achievement according to me), apart from that what has he got that would come to his achievement's list... being human charity which is there to clean up his image and for people to forget his past sins (everybody knows about it so wont go there )and he got BB movies like dabang and bodyguard which we cant show to our non-desi freinds out of embarrassment.
they both got here because they were served all this on a platter when they started off.
shahrukh got here because of his hard work and talent and now he is the face of india to many people who dont kno where india is on the map. he got honored by french, south Korean and Malaysian governments...he got three wax replicas in different parts of the world....he got honored by UNESCO for his charity work which very little people kno about because he doesnt wear it like a t-shirt...i can go on and on and on but dont have enough time...he is the biggest movie star ever and we all should respect him for getting that title.
and now if he even show off it can be justified because this man got on the top all by himself. PV plz post this

He did roles of psycho villain lover when no lead actor in India wanted to do, then all other actors followed him.
He did lover boy roles, then all other actors followed him.
He did ads, then all other actors followed him.
He bought a cricket team, then all other actors followed him.
He made a technologically superb sci-fi superhero movie, even though it was criticized and made fun of, everyone is now trying to made 3D movies and use the technology he used in Ra.One. Again SRK the leader and others are followers.
He celebrated KKR's win with a rally, now watch it, next year onwards it will become a trend!

most of the comments below are insane and I really wish people would stop reading and posting on articles JUST to spread negativity.
First why should have SRK celebrated during the last 4 IPL seasons??!!? His team didn't win so he was no reason to celebrate or throw parties. It is the responsibility of the team owners to celebrate their team's win not srk's. One of the reasons this particular win is attracting so much attention is because KKR had performed horrendous in the first 3 seasons of IPL and then to come back with a near win in IPL 4 and then to win IPL5 beating one of the best teams and to top it off its owned by SRK and Juhi(no one in India can achieve the SRK's popularity)
Second, Juhi might not show up for all the matches like SRK but her husband Jay Mehta(co-owner of KKR) is at every single match.
This is a well-deserved victory. This IPL was far more entertaining than any other IPL season. The cricket was just outstanding!sooo much magic!
I can't beleive Mumbai Indians have never been an IPL Champion, despite having Sachin Tendulkar on their team. Rajasthan Royals were the first winners of IPL 2008, then Decan Chargers 2009, Chennai Super Kings 2010 & 2011, Kalkota Knight Riders 2012. Booo Mumbai Indians......;)
Hey calm down! I don't know why in India they don't celebrate with a victory rally when a city team wins. Everyone doesn't have to be about national sport teams. Here in North America and also in Europe, there are a lot of city teams for different sports, and they are all private franchises, ice hockey teams, soccer teams, baseball teams, basketball teams, etc...just like the IPL and teams belonging to different cities. But here in North America and also in Europe, whenever a city team wins (no matter what sport), there is a BIG rally organized through the city streets that leads to a big stadium and city as well state and in some cases even national government politicians join the rally and the celebrations! So I don't know why everyone is so shocked in India that after a big win a private city team has held such a rally. You guys in India need to celebrate such achievements more if you wanna join the big league countries of the world. Kudos to SRK and the West Bengal and Kolkata politicians for organizing this rally and celebrating! Now you see, from next year onwards, every team that will win the IPL will organize a similar rally. SRK is always a trend setter!!! More power to him!

So it is crime in india to celebrate an achievment you are looking for for 5 years!!! Some People there can be so sick and full of envy and hatred. I say go out of here and try to achieve something by yourself. People have the right to be happy and celebrate. It is not like Srk force people to come there and cheer for them...again he didn't force the media to show the ceremony on tv...and again he didn't force you all to watch his photos and comment on them. So cut the crap and be happy for other people for once.
Love you Srk and I am so happy for your team and the whole players. Well, done. It is good to see someone know how to have fun.
this will stay in KKR fans mind for a long long time and especially fans in kolkata the city of joy.

just goes on to show srk achieves a little and makes the "achievement" look a lot bigger than it really is.. the smart ones can see that Aamir and Salman are above SRK anyday..

She was there for a couple of matches but was shooting for 'Son of Sardar' most of the time!
KKR received a Champion's reception in Kolkata. It is the most memorable and sweetest victory in IPL history. Forever etched in our minds and hearts. Thank you Kolkata for making Srk so happy.

It's OK to be happy for your team, and it's OK TO SHOWW OFF if your team WINS in a championship. Look at the world cup, people and TRAINERS go NUTS all the time, and it is the NORMAL thing to do. so back off people with low mentalities.

My dear shahrukhkhan needs happiness and rarely gets it so when it comes,he never lets it go and I love that from him and he really got so emotional and depressed about his team,many people blamed him for its loss last years
