After his breakthrough performance in Rang De Basanti and under-appreciated performance in Striker, Siddharth is returning to Bollywood in David Dhawan's Chashme Buddoor. Following that, he'll be seen in the much awaited Deepa Mehta movie Midnight's Children. Author of the book and script-writer Salman Rushdie has been all praises for Siddharth on his twitter account.
As a huge Siddharth fan, I'm so glad he's making movies to reach a wider audience. For those of you who are not familiar with Siddharth yet, besides being incredibly cute (obviously), he's also very intelligent, well-spoken, and an incredibly talented actor.

HOW can he be a hero? doesnt look like one at ALL!!
......
You do realise that acting requires actors and not brawny super hero greek gods who can't emote for their life, right? He'll be acting in the movie not doing herogiri, his appearance is appropriate for his role, not that i expect you to know anything about the book or his role.

LOL you are mistaken..
If we wanna see someone with our money.. he better look the part or deliver the goods. So far he hasn't delivered enough talent like Irrfan khan or Nawazuddin, to be in their caliber. AND he doesnt have the good looks to be in the good looking stars' caliber as well.
dont belive me, watch Strike (or Striker).
aww SIDHU is really adorble...I'v been wanting to watch his movies...but some of the south ones are either similar to his other ones or just boring. Last movie I liked of his was Bommarillu. I would to love to see him in more movies with a good role! All the best to him.
I disagree with most of the posters here. Forget what he looks like. Judge him by his acting and only his acting. That's what happened with Shah Rukh Khan and look where he is today. An actor should solely by judged upon by their acting and nothing else.
He is good for off beats role or supporting
but for a Bollywood lead hero in a big film NAAA :S
