Fashion Faux Pas: Sonakshi Sinha vs Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan
Did Sonakshi Sinha decide to take styling tips from a nursing mother? For the most part I try to defend Sonakshi who usually receives a lot of criticism for looking older than her age as well as for her curves. It is however perplexing to see her dressing like a 38-year-old. She showed up at a recent promotional event for her upcoming movie 'Joker' wearing among other things a red housecoat shrug similar to the black one Aishwarya has been seen wearing ever since she received criticism for her baby weight gain. What does Sonakshi have to hide? She looks slender enough having lost weight to debut as a Bollywood heroine. Why wear this housecoat that is not exactly a flattering fashion statement? Share your thoughts.

In my opinion I don't think it's a faux pas, and it's not a 38 year old's outfit either. Just standard casual stuff.

This was just a fashion post with healthy style criticism not unlike what you would see posted on famed fashion blogs like Miss Malini, Style Me India, Idiva, Indian Fashion Police, High Heel Confidential, Red Carpet Fashion Critic and even here by Pinkvilla admin. Some anons are just here to prove that they are uneducated and uncouth with their lackluster and low IQ commentary.

i think sonakshi is loking okey and comfortable... i think the only thing bad about the look is her hairstyle.

I like how she is comfortable in her own skin. At least sa e dresses decently and not like kareena aunty who tries sooo hard to look young by wearing revealing clothes! Going from her past appearances sonakshi is a very simple girl. Let her be who she is.
Her throw over is bright and young and adds a pop of colour to what she is wearing. And going from the unanimous comments below, I think she is looking fine. I doubt she thinks of who some stupid person will compare her to if she decides to wear something. This is in no way close to a fashion faux pas.

Sonakshi look absolutely fine in the red housecoat, nothings wrong with it :)
its just a long cardigan that sonakshi is wearing..long on the sides and short at the back.. thats not something to be worn by nursing mothers..its a very common cardigan style..
If sonakshi is comfortable with what she is wearing, what makes the difference to you?
I think she looks fine! There's no need to bag on her when she wants to be comfortable.

No I am not kidding Anon, I saw a trailer for JOKER and though I am not sure about the film-maker(s) many parts looked like scenes from the same village in TEES MAAR KHAN where the terrible forest existed with the headless horseman.
MY goodness.. if the woman decides to wear something comfortable one day.. LET HER. Nobody goes to their closet and says " I want to look like moti 38- year old Aishwarya today" Use some logic.
