Sonam Kapoor: What Will She Wear to Cannes 2012? Part 1
This is the second inning of Sonam Kapoor's on the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet. Sonam definitely took BIG risks in her fashion choices at the Cannes last year....some worked (like the AMAZING Jean Paul Gaultier Couture) and some didn't (unflattering dress by The Row with muddy tan makeup courtesy of L'oreal). However, Fashion Industry love her, fashionistas & stylists around the world adore her, designers want to dress her, wannabes want to hate her.... I am so anxious about what Sonam will be wearing to the Cannes Film Festival this year. I am dying to see Sonam in either Coutures from Givenchy, Christian Dior, Alexis Mabille, Stephane Rolland, Elie Saab or in a summery vibrant dress from Oscar De La Renta......Here is hoping Sonam take BIG RISKS again & would love to see her colors..... THE REDCARPET LOOKS:

Queen of fashion world ---- finally India would have an intligent woman to represent India.
Typical ashs fans --- just love to put Sonam( anyone who succeed) down. There is no comparison with Ash and Sonam. Ash cashed on her beauty when she was younger. Too bad, her beauty didn't last long enough. It's all about her bad atitude that ruined her beauty. She was too proud, snobbish, and thought of herself above everyone.
By the way, Sonam is not just true beauty, but an intelligent WOMAN representing INDIA.
Not just a gigly girl who really thought she was the most beautiful.
She can wear:
Day 1: Something dramatic ( which designer? )
Day 2 Something Quirky/avante garde like Lanvin
Day 3 Something Sexy in chiffon fabric with Indian embroidery

The Stephane Rolland dress looks amazing... I would love to see Sonam in that, or Christian Dior and Elie Saab....don't know about Alexis Mabille and Oscar de la Renta, a bit risky...

I guess one can post what one likes in the name of being a fan but a sentence like this one - "Fashion Industry love her, fashionistas & stylists around the world adore her, designers want to dress her, wannabes want to hate her", makes you sound a tad delusional! No one abroad made such a big deal of Sonam, she was barely ID'd in the few pics that she appeared in and her put-together-by-stylists-in-the-latest-and-most-expensive-couture-with-no-personality-shining-through looks do not deserve a fraction of the praise you have heaped on her!

I hope she wears something with colour rather than the usual drab lifeless colours like white, gray, beige, black, navy, brown.
SONAM SHOULD WEAR INDIAN COSTUMES LIKE SAREES AND BE PROUD OF THE TRADITIONAL INDIAN ATTIRE..SHE NEVER WEARS ETHNIC OUTFITS FOR INTERNATIONAL EVENTS LIKE CANNES. WHATS GOING ON???

I like the red dress and the more normal ones rather than the very weird and skin exposing ones..

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!?! It's not about the exposing skin wich bothers me, but the way they are exposing it and the weird desings, the unmatching pieces and colores are completley HIDEOUS!
Only Elie Saab's and the red Christian Dior gown worth here! Only because it's high fashion it doesn't means they are pretty and wearable.

i think she would wear a very special gown like what she wore last year.these are so beautiful but i'm sure sonam will wear something more beautiful and unique.

Sonam would look great in Givenchy SS12 Couture for the red-carpet, Jill Sander SS12 for the day press-interview, and Balmain for the evening......These three looks are different yet I think are beautiful & fashion forward!

MORE IMPORTANTLY, SHE IS THE YOUNGEST INDIAN/BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR OF L'OREAL AND ENTER CANNES. ALSO SHE IS THE FIRST BTOWN ACTRESS TO BE INVITED IN ALL THE LAVISH EUROPEAN FASHION SHOWS. NO ONE IN BTOWN HAS BECOME EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT SHE HAS ACHIEVED WITH A VERY YOUNGER AGE. MY CHOICE OF CLOTHES THAT I BELIEVE SHE WILL LOOK GORGEOUS ON IS ELLE SAAB COLLECTION!!
