Priyanka Chopra takes a dig at Kareena Kapoor

Why are ppl soo jealous that they want to bring up Salman's name unnecessaryly ...soo obsessed and burning with jealousy....BURN MORE Cant accept that many ppl in bollywood owe their careers to Salman and hence love him.

Urgh I'm so sick of unnecessary and unentertaining fanwars! Iphone vs. Android, Kareena vs. PC, One Direction vs. Justin Beiber vs. Wanted etc. *snore*.

This is why I'm team Katrina. Yes she is talentless and cannot act to save her life but at least she has some sort of self respect and dignity and is not publicly petty.

Kareena is the biggest lier of bollywood.. when main aur MRs.khanna got flopped she said i just did that movie for Karisma.she never wanted to do it.. now all of a sudden became salman fan as he became the biggest star of tday..biggest hypocrite..If Ash was never part of heroine she wouldn't do it..

Kareena never took digs at Aishwarya. She always said that Heroine was hers because she was offered the film FIRST. Kareena has always expressed her admiration for Ash so there is no need to create drama where there is none. She has also praised Katrina several times for being "beautiful" and complimenting her dancing saying she could never dance as well as Katrina. Again there is no need to create drama where this is none. Kareena was talking about National Award and how she didn't care if she didn't win one like PC did for Fashion and KonKona did for Page 3. The interviewer was trying to get a rise from PC and the idiot fell for it. I hate that PC started the whole drama again and now Kareena will respond back.

Kareena's beef with Aishwarya began during the casting of DEVDAS...

• Sanjay Leela Bhansali (director of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam): he screen tested her for the role of Parvati in his upcoming film Devdas, and then cast Aishwarya Rai instead. Kareena has publicly stated that "Sanjay Bhansali is a confused director. He is a person who does not stand by his word. He doesn't have any morals and principles in life." (print interview with Umesh Jivnani) In the July 2002 issue of Filmfare Magazine, Bhansali confirms the tale: "She came to my house with Neeta Lulla and said she wanted to work with me... I told her that I hadn't seen her work and that before casting her, I needed to see what she was capable of. We fixed up a photo-shoot with the right costumes. Since Babitaji and Karisma Kapoor were also at the shoot, I made it clear to all of them that the shoot wasn't a confirmation that I would cast Kareena. They were okay with that at the time. After going through the photographs, I told Kareena that I felt Aishwarya Rai was fabulous and perfect for Paro; she has the aristocratic looks I required. Kareena didn't say a word then but some days later I found her lashing out at me in print. She accused me of backing out after having given her the signing amount and contract. Then in 2006/2007 (which is when I personally began to notice her cattiness) she expressed her opinion about DHOOM II and how people were making too much noise about Aishwarya and Hrithik's lackluster kiss and that she would have done a 100% better job.

She finally came in for the kill during the casting of HEROINE where she was attached to the film then she wasn't attached to the film then the film was announced as Aishwarya's next at Cannes only for Aishwarya to become pregnant after shooting the initial shots of the film to be replaced by Kareena and the rest as they say, is history.

In 1998, Jennifer Lopez got in trouble for calling Madonna a talentless actress (her quote: "Do I think she's a great actress? No. Acting is what I do, so I'm harder on people when they say, 'Oh, I can do that—I can act.' I'm like, 'Hey, don't spit on my craft.'") then denied it but unfortunately for her it did not happen in Bollywood where if the fans don't keep track of the archives they disappear forever, it happened in Hollywood and the magazine (Movieline) produced the taped & print interview in which the alleged comments were made. In hind sight, JLO did not have a publicist when she made those comments. The Madonna vs JLO feud apparently came to an end in 2006 when they were photographed together at a Vanity Fair party.

There was a time Kareena also said this: "I'm not at all a Salman fan. I don't like him, he's a very bad actor." (print interview with Umesh Jivnani) let's just assume she too did not have a publicist then.

Hey Voiceswriter and angelicious glad to see like minded people agreeing with my comment @ Tue, 2012-09-18 14:43 (actually either/both of you in other posts have agreed with some other anonymous comments of mine too, so we do think alike on a coupla topics :)) Voiceswriter - I agree with what you said about Kareena - gosh it must be so burdensome carrying all that insecurity around, in addition to a supersized ego, but I don't think Priyanka is in any way lagging behind in her own pettiness - this is not the first time she's made snide remarks. Whatever happened to letting your work speak for itself!? I guess the industry right now is full of actors and actresses ready to take digs at each other at any given opportunity (be it SRK and Sallu or Kareena and PC). Priyanka lost me completely after her remarks about her surgery...I'm not saying she should have confessed to it etc. since it's none of our business, but instead of just saying that and ending the issue, she let loose some gyan about beauty etc. and said an outright lie. That to me speaks volumes about her character (or lack thereof) and somehow makes me dislike her on-screen persona as well.

I agree but in PC's defense, the media has backed her into a wall. The thing that pisses me off about her is when she comments on certain things then pleads the 5th on others. But in her defense, every time she makes a public appearance she is dogged with questions about whether or not she is going to abandon Bollywood for her music career, what happened during a tax-raid or with some 5AM buddy, if the rumours are true about her affair with xyz or plastic surgeries etc. She does not (at least as far as I have known her) takes digs at other actresses out of the blue. When Bebo faces the media she is dogged with questions about her upcoming wedding & HEROINE rhetoric. THAT'S IT. Every other controversy, she creates for herself.

lol kareena needs to take a chill. shes always attacking people and then expects them not to say anything. and neither fashion or herione was too great going by the trailer of herione though. i agree with the comment below. pc shouldnt have gotten a national award for it. her performance in that movie was too overated.

Hang on, wasn't Kareena only recently praising Priyanka? In fact she was quite nice about her and Deepika. Thought these two were cool with each other now... Well that didn't last long! The end part of the interview was weird. Where she says by her denying rumours won't make it untrue? What's that supposed to mean? It's not a definite answer.
