Ever since Kahaani released, people have been predicting that Vidya Balan will win all the Best Actress
Awards next year. And why not? So far she's the only worthy candidate. However this might change in the coming months because the best is yet to come.
Kareena Kapoor:
Heroine - One of the most anticipated films of the year.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Priyanka Chopra:
Teri Meri Kahani - The actress will play 3 characters in different time periods. 20's, 60's/70's and 2012.
Barfi! - She is set to prove her versatility yet again by portraying the role of a mentally challenged woman.
Rani Mukerji:
Aiyaa - Rani plays the role of a Maharashtrian girl in the quirky love story.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Sridevi:
Engligh Vinglish - After ruling in the 80's and 90's, Sridevi is set to push the bar even further in her comeback film. She will talk in Japanese, Mexican, Swahili, Korean and French.
Karisma Kapoor:
Dangerous Ishq - Touted as Kapoor's comeback film, Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq will see Karisma in one of her best performances till date!

(PC won in the popular category which is nothing but a sabse favorite kon type of thing, Sallu loser won the best actor for Dabangg, you can well imagine how fair that category is).

Nothing to hate about sridevi. she is the Best! everybody know about her talent and one of the excellent artist in indian cinema. for me... rather she get awards or not but she still number one in her fans Hearts. All her fans give Her... (Somuch Loves And Respect Unlimited Awards for Srideviji) I think other Awards is less and small than tis.)))..

It has to be Sridevi for best popular actress and Priyanka for best critics actress as critics lauded her role in barfi.....tough fight this time as someone pointed out....vidya was gud too...but sridevi was par excellence....come on guys, kareena did shit work in heroine....karishma and bipasha dont even deserve a nomination....!....y call sridevi as fit for theerth yatra and al....grow up guys....age s no bar to show one's creative endeavors...!sick are those who think aged ppl dont deserve awards....last year best actress at Oscars was Meryl Streep who was aged 62!!!!!

This is the toughest fight in recent years- the fight is between Sridevi/Vidya/Priyanka, but more between Sridevi/Vidya, because they acted flawlessly in their films and they were heroine-oriented roles and also because their films did well at the box office. Really tough, but I'd say Sridevi will win!!

right..double standard, if SRK is best actor for darr n baazigar, y not bips for raaz 3

vidya may be if awards fuctions ditch bipasha for playing dark role, as in india dark role are not considered main lead, however SRK n baazigar and darr did play dark role and was considered as best actor..may b he always has xception..
