Ever since Kahaani released, people have been predicting that Vidya Balan will win all the Best Actress
Awards next year. And why not? So far she's the only worthy candidate. However this might change in the coming months because the best is yet to come.
Kareena Kapoor:
Heroine - One of the most anticipated films of the year.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Priyanka Chopra:
Teri Meri Kahani - The actress will play 3 characters in different time periods. 20's, 60's/70's and 2012.
Barfi! - She is set to prove her versatility yet again by portraying the role of a mentally challenged woman.
Rani Mukerji:
Aiyaa - Rani plays the role of a Maharashtrian girl in the quirky love story.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Sridevi:
Engligh Vinglish - After ruling in the 80's and 90's, Sridevi is set to push the bar even further in her comeback film. She will talk in Japanese, Mexican, Swahili, Korean and French.
Karisma Kapoor:
Dangerous Ishq - Touted as Kapoor's comeback film, Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq will see Karisma in one of her best performances till date!

Sridevi should win especially beacuse she lost out two sureshot Filmfare awards for Nagina and Mr. India simply because Filmfare Awards were not held both these years due to a strike in the film industry
First,everyone knows that Katrina can't act at all.Its a fact now!.I personally believe that Katrina is a good person and never hurts and makes snotty remarks about anyone.Which is so nice n a really good quality!And I obviously don't hate any star,because honestly speaking I am just not interested about them,to waste my time.I love Ash,because she is the so unbelievably beautiful and talented.
LOL.Its hilarious that people speak without actually knowing the facts.Second,If all the films of Ash's in HW are non performers then every damn film is a FLOP.And actually debating without even knowing the facts is freaking dumb.BnP made with a budget of $7 million made $24 million at the boxOffice which is more than thrice is budget!! Obviously,a superhit.and here's the proof too http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=brideandprejudice.htm .And its funny when somebody speaks about Ash saying she had a small role in PP2 but she was the only villian in the film (which practically means a vital role if not the most important),and their star do 15-20 roles in films.And yes,it was a comedy so obviously it was not a performance oriented role,she did what she was meant to.And yes,this made around $75 million.And provoked was a british-indian film which recovered its costs and lots of acclaim for Ash.So a success!I don't wanna waste my time any further!No offence :-)
All are good but still,a legend is a legend and Sreedevi is an actress for all seasons,all ages,all classes and all time.

If Sridevi bags a Filmfare, she will break Nutan's record and create a new one for being the most senior actress ever to win a Best Actress trophy.
Sridevi is really good,i have seen many of her films and i can bet that this veteran actress is worth watching and truely worthy of winning.
I want SriDevi to win for English Vinglish as i just love her as an actress.I like other actresses in the list also but SriDevi is a Legend.

My vote goes to SRIJI and i am impatient to watch ENGLISH VINGLISH.
I like many actresses from the above list like,Rani,Kareena,Priyanka,Karishma,etc.they are all very good actresses.Among them all the odd one out is SriDevi,i have not seen any film of her's as she had left acting before my growing up, except for one and that is Army and i watched that film because of my favourite Shah Rukh Khan.But from that one film only i understood that SriDevi is one matchless actress and i have heard so much about her from my parents,my grandfather,mom and dad all are her fans.
Srideviji should win,she is a great actress.
Filmfare awards are awarded to actors/actresses based on 'hits'... most likely critic awards would go to artsy and critically aclaimed awards. Vidya film was critically aclaimed and super hit... she is likely, but again there are Rani and Kareena for Talaash, it defintely going to be a hit. Kareena's performances have already been seen by some critics for heroine and she is being raved about. Priyanka's role in barfi is being considered as well, so it might be her as well, but she is not protoganist in barfi. Karishma's role as the main protoganist in DI with different avatars, same as Priyanka's film with Shahid. Karishma's roles have more strength than hers, so it boiled down to hits and performances. Rani's role is aiyaa is artsy, so it might be critic award rather than best actress, same with SriDevi (my fav). The others mentioned may be nonimated but not win filmfare but possibly win for other awards as best actress for the year or desirable.
Eros has bought the rights of English Vinglish for a whopping 20 crores. That's the highest figure ever paid for a heroine oriented film. That just tells you the kind of star power Sridevi still has after all these years. No wonder they call her the First Female Superstar of Bollywood.
English Vinglish is supposed to be an out and out comedy and when it comes to raising laughs, no one can touch Sridevi. The Empress may do it all over again.
Reports say that Sridevi will speak in five different languages in this film like French and Korean....that will be EXCITING!!!

If you are not blind then you can see kat has improved but I guess you are blind .Aish is decent actress which I agree what I am saying she is not super talented ..I know its your opinion but I just said the facts so I dont accept anyone to believe..The movies you talked about mostly got negative reviews and failed which was why she had no success in HW.In PP she had a very small role which she has nothing to do other than looking good so I dont consider the movie. You only brought aish to this post and now you are complaining.It doesn't matter whose post it is we can state our facts and opinions on anywhere we want right??My favorite actress is Katrina but I dont fool myself by saying she is the most talented.I dont blindly worship her. Filmfare is against Sridevi, so I dont expect her to get any any...thats so sad. She is definitely the best actress of BW ever!
Many of you have forgotten Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine which starts Kareena Kapoor. I think Kareena is gonna sweep all the awards for Heroine. Haters are bound to hate. We... Kareena's fans don't give a shit about haters. You can hate, but you can't make a film flop just because you despise her. Heroine will be blockbuster weather you like it or not.
Sridevi can touch your soul when she get's the right set up and this seems to be a very novel, good set up. Im keeping my fingers crossed for her, because she is so authentically talented. Filmfare is often biased towards her, but i hope this film will be so appreciated that they have no choice but to give it to her.

Aish's acting in provoked was so lame she couldn't even do one proper dialogue her voice was super squeaky and annoying all she done is to cry few tears and look scared and according to wikipedia provoked was commercially failed movie like all of aish none indian movies so oxygen you can't fool any of us since google tells that all of aish none indian movies except bride and prejudice was bomb.
Would love to see Srideviji getting an award,as she never gets one although she is one of the finest actors of India.
Aishwarya Rai is nice,but leave her alone in peace as she has no films now,so let her enjoy her precious moment of being a mom.Its not the matter of winning awards but its so nice to see that 2013 has got so so so many female-centric flms and that means the time has changed.And we are really lucky that we can experience the comeback of Sreedevi,i have never seen any of her film at the theaters so now i will definitely watch English Vinglish at the theater.I will watch all the other films also as i love female-centric films.

Yes,Pigs fly and Katrina is improving.HAHA.I stated my opinion,haven't held a gun on their head to accept it,Duh!.Its My Opinion! .Now what can I say about a a person who thinks Katrina is 'improving' in acting or Kareena is very talented?LOL..I can't fool myself too.Anyways ASH's HW films haven't failed,the only failed one's are The Last Legion and Mistress Of spices.BnP was much acclaimed and very successful at the BO which was a complete Ash film,Provoked was a low budget film which recovered all of its costs and Ash's performance was appreciated by all major critics and audience,and had positive to mixed reviews.And PP2 though not liked,but was very much successful at the BO.So she's got 3 winners in HW.And she's got so many awards and very much acclaimed performances for so many movies of hers.And has worked with the most accomplished and talented directors in BW.And she was awarded the actress of the decade at so many shows,for what reason?And this post is not even about her!

I am sorry i dont find aishwarya so versatile given that she has spent more than ten years in BW.She is just an average not so bad bad actress.Her looks always had favored her..If she was that versatile and talented why did her hollywood movies failed???Dont say that those movies were critically acclaimed.Aishwarya is just a glam doll just like you call to katrina but I guess a better version of that..I love katrina but facts are facts.katrina is beautiful and have a very pleasing personality..She has improved a lot and still she have a long way to go.The thing with aishwarya is that she is so overated in BW..She doesn't come even close to the talent of rani and madhuri or even bebo for that matter.I dont hate aishwarya I love her for her looks just like deepika sonam and my darling katrina..I love them but I cant fool myself calling them talented
Priyanka and sridevi will nail them all. may b rani and vidya follows. This 4 are the better ones. the rest are just escorting the year.
