Ever since Kahaani released, people have been predicting that Vidya Balan will win all the Best Actress
Awards next year. And why not? So far she's the only worthy candidate. However this might change in the coming months because the best is yet to come.
Kareena Kapoor:
Heroine - One of the most anticipated films of the year.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Priyanka Chopra:
Teri Meri Kahani - The actress will play 3 characters in different time periods. 20's, 60's/70's and 2012.
Barfi! - She is set to prove her versatility yet again by portraying the role of a mentally challenged woman.
Rani Mukerji:
Aiyaa - Rani plays the role of a Maharashtrian girl in the quirky love story.
Talaash - Another performance oriented role however we're still not sure whether she's playing the lead or supporting role in the film.
Sridevi:
Engligh Vinglish - After ruling in the 80's and 90's, Sridevi is set to push the bar even further in her comeback film. She will talk in Japanese, Mexican, Swahili, Korean and French.
Karisma Kapoor:
Dangerous Ishq - Touted as Kapoor's comeback film, Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq will see Karisma in one of her best performances till date!

bollywood queen AISHWARYA RAI will be back soon to claim her throne!!!! all these actress above are just basking in fame and success bcoz of ash's absence!! That too rani.. all her films in the past are first offered to ash, rani would be portrayed in a movie whenever ash couldn't do it and so kareena. kareena desperately wanted ASH'S FAME.. TO all actress out there please mind that ASH EVEN HER BABY IS MAKING NEWS CONSTANTLY IN INDIA. EVEN IN SOUTH INDIAN DAILIES WE COULD SEE NEWS ABOUT ASH CONSTANRLY
Priyanka Chopra's Barfee and Rani Mukherjee's Aiyaa and Kareena's Heroine are definitely going to get awards,and the actress who is coming back after 15 years,SriDevi in definitely going to give us another landmark film like Sadma,Lamhe,Khuda Gawah,Mr.India,etc.but it does not matter as she will not be given any award for English Vinglish as the award shows are very much biased against her.
Please keep Sridevi and all these younger actresses in a seperate category.All these young actresses are very good but still we can't compare The Sridevi,who is a legend in 5 major film industries of India(Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam,Kannada and Hindi)with them.And that is why all the above mentioned actresses starting from Kareena Kapoor,Rani Mukherjee to Karishma Kapoor,Kangana Ranaut,Priety Zinta all are Sridevi's fans.So we should keep the Icon and the admirers seperate from in different categories.

This is so like the Academy Awards list with great young actresses and Queen Bee Sridevi towering over everyone like Meryl Streep.
Sridevi is obvioulsy by far the best actress here but sadly awards theses days are not given for talent but PR skills.
Like last year too this year also i feel there will be a competition btw pc and vidya. As pc has 3 releases out of which 1 is already a blockbuster and other 2 are quite promising.
Talaash is a amir khan movie which already star rani also, i dont think bebo get any credit for that movie. Heroine will be a combo of fashion and tdp so its chances are also very less.
Priyanka for sure. Tmk is a kunal kohli love tale which always blow away audience so i am very excited to see that film and in barfee she is playing an autistic character which is more challeging and difficult than the srk in mink.
Oh no matter what,u have to bring in Ash.Okay,what I meant is that Ash is certainly not having films this year,so others are gonna benefit.I haven't seen a single film of Karisma,so I know nothing about her acting or even her for that matter.Even Sridevi,though I have always heard great things about her.I personally disliked TDP and Vidya didn't impress me there.But Kahaani is certainly much better and very effective performance,so she deserves it completely.Rani is a good actress,but I wasn't impressed with her acting in her films lately like NOKJ,DBH.So she needs to prove it with these films.Katrina,Sonam aren't actresses.Kareena is below average.PC is good.And yes,Ash is the most versatile of the lot,but just isn't working for a while.

Aishwarya,Priyanka,Kareena,Vidya are the only ones who can act in the industry today!So I want them to compete,Not,too much old "Sridevi",or a'nobody remembers,who is she' and coming back with almost a B grade film "Karisma",or 'the forgotten and overrated' "Rani Mukherjee".When is PV gonna stop with these posts.There were at least 5 posts on who is gonna win the awards this year.And Indian awards are anyways a JOKE.So STOP!

Priyanka Chopra,Sreedevi and Rani Mukherjee are my choices.
i am a fan of Katrina Kaif and looking forward to her Ek Tha Tiger but i know this that she is not a good actress but she is trying her best to be a good actress and that shows.On the other hand i will be very very happy if the veteran SriDevi wins the awards for her film English Vinglish as she is an actress of both the class and the mass,but very sadly she is never awarded although she is nominated so many times and all of them were sure shot winners but they showed partiality towards SriDevi and gave them all to the other actresses.So i think that the awards will go to that actress only who is having a great PR Management lots of interviews with all the newspapers,magazines,award shows,T.V.shows,etc.
My vote goes to The Sridevi.
Vidya was very gud in Kahani...specially the last 15 mins....somehow feel she will make it this year as well.....I am happy when a real deserving actress wins.......Vidya is not my top favourite heroine...I am a bigger fan of Sridevi and Rani....but somehow i feel the kind of performances she has been giving....she will nudge past everyone..and if dats true....I want only her to win more than my favourites...I just dont want Sridevi to win merely because of the 'comeback gimmick".....Sridevi is a wonderful performer..but what i mean in if she or Rani deliver par excellence again..I would vote for her..otherwise it should be Vidya....the most deserving one....
WOW!SRIDEVI is coming back after 15 long years and she is definitely going to rokkk us all as she is and all time authentic actress,i still remember the time when her last film Judaai released in 1997,at that time i was a kid of 8 years old and i went to the theater with my mom and dad and saw that people were throwing towards the screen as soon as SRIDEVI appeared onscreen and i became an instant fan of her's.
all the actresses mentioned above are good,some of them are very good and one is India's First Female Superstar,SriDevi.So 2013 is going to be the year of our beloved Divas.Awards does not matter for them and SriDevi is an honour herself and hence i am going to watch all the films with same love for sure.
I am really liking Sridevi's poster from English Vinglish,its so naturally beautiful and moreover the film is from the R Balki's banner who always produces modern day classics.
It will be between Vidya and PC this year for Kahani vs Barfi. Kahaani has been a critical and commercial success .Depending on the box office fate of Barfi and its critical reception, If Barfi is a huge success, PC will get best actress and Vidya best actress-critics award. If Barfi is a commercial failure, but critical success then Vidya will get best actress and PC best actress critics. Heroine may be good, but I believe it could be repetitive/similar to Fashion/TDP, so chances of Kareena are diluted. Also, in no way it would be Kareena or Rani for Talash. Heroines are always sidelines in Khan movies, and that too in a Aamir Khan movie, heroines dont get much scope. Rani for Aiyya- I doubt, since box office prospects look week. Karishma- no way, she is out of question. She cant guarantee a box office hit at this stage, and she was a horrible actress in her prime days with all those cheesy roles. Who will go to watch dangerous ishq? Sreedevi- I believe the movie English/Vinglish will be good and Sreedevi rocking in it, but Filmfare always does partiality against Sreedevi, and never awards her, so chances are grim. Had it been Madhuri or Kajol doing English/Vinglish, then Filmfare would definitely reserved awards for them
Vidya might not have worn a mini skirt but shed off her sari & blouse from her first film itself! And all buzz she got was mainly due to TDP.
She will buy awards this year as her PR has grown stronger than ever.
Only Vidya deserves it..wish her all the very best..!she is someone who got here without wearing a mini skirt..She justifies her title "actress"..not a model or drama queen!
Just because they ( rani, Priyanka, karishma , kareena & shri) look glamourous or have done glamourous role dosen't mean they are any less talented or cannot act ......Its not fair for them ....only if you look deglam or do serious artzy role then you should get an award automatically....not fair!!!!They all should be considered equally!!!!!well 2013 will tell
Vidya is good but PLZZZZZZZZZZ in 2013 ,she has tough competition like Rani, Priyanka , Kareena & karishma .............so plz i hope some one with talented & powerful role wins not just hype from this year ............( anyway like someone said earlier the awards are bought so doesn't really matter )
No doubt Vidya is a grt actress, but if she wins agn Bollywood has totally gone mad for her 4th consecutive awards this is just too much & record holder forever. I hope someone beside Vidya win.
Vidya is good, but she is by no means a brilliant actress. She hasnt done enough varied roles for her to be called a top actress. She is miles better than most of the current crop though.
I think she got lucky with The Dirty Picture. It was always gonna be a movie which would garner hype and publicity. Whether she can keep up the good work and act in different roles will be the real test for her.
She does have stiff competition this year.. But awards are mostly bought, so they don't really matter anymore.
