Tabu's Latest Filmfare Scans

Tabu is stunning with her height and classic features, liked the fact that she is very very talented and her acting prowess is sublime. She is God's gift to the Indian cinema and every time when I watch her films I got soaked into the character she portrays and ultimately got absorbed into the emotions she conveyed on screen. She is a true artist which commit herself into every craft of hers with all souls, yet she never let any of those successes or unnecessary "glam stuff" got over her mind and keeps a low profile over the years in the industry. When Karan Johar asked her whether or not she had any aspirations about Hollywood (after she got accolades for her performance in The Namesake) in KWK, Tabu's answer is superb: "...I know I will never get the kind of roles that Julia Roberts gets... I think we should know what we can do/reach and what we cannot, ... and I have it very clear in my head... see, Namesake is a film about Indians although it's an American film, a Fox Searchlight production, and we cannot cast Americans in a film that is about Indians, but not many American films made are about Indians, or have Indians and Asians as the main characters..." and immediately after that Mira Nair joined the conversation talking about global audiences are getting more demanding about films with multi-layered aspects and cultural experience (something like that, can't remember word by word...) ooops, that's too long, but I simply loved Tabu, her personality and her work.

Tabu is the epitome of beauty & talent. She is the only actress of her generation that possess those qualities. Aishwarya may have beauty and international recognition but when it comes to talent, she does not come even close to Tabu. And Tabu shies away from fame. She could have taken advantage of all the offers after The Namesake, but she didn't. It's almost as if she's afraid of being too famous.
