First Look Poster + Theatrical Trailer of Barfi!
Barfii is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film directed by Anurag Basu. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz in lead roles. It is expected to be released on September 14, 2012. Ranbir Kapoor reportedly plays the role of a deaf-mute person. Priyanka Chopra will play the role of a mentally challenged girl, for which she attended a mental asylum to get into the skin of her character. In addition, Tollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz will play the role of the narrator. SYNOPSIS His parents named him Murphy, but everyone calls him Barfi! Always ready with a prank up his sleeve, he’s quite the charmer, especially with the ladies! In Darjeeling, Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor) is the talk of the town. Even though he can neither speak nor listen! His bitter-sweet relationship with two beautiful young ladies, Shruti (Ileana D’cruz) and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) sets in motion a chain of events that will turn his life upside down! UTV Motion Pictures and director Anurag Basu invite you to witness the amusing, naughty and sometimes crazy antics of Barfi. Ranbir is pretty average actor. He has same brand of acting. All his characters in the respective genre looks same.
ok This is embarrassing. Priyanka is hardly in the trailer. its only Ranbir flashed across. and the poster also has only Ranbir. Priyanka's fame is slipping away slowly but surely.
Funny thing is no one even knows they copied a french film, congratulations you have crossed the limits of copying everyone's movies and music.

You are wrong! Asin was the original choice fr Priyanka and ileana both roles! Anurag basu offered asin both roles but wonder why she rejected the offer!! Asin confirmed this news yesterday on B.hungama live chat!

This is not a dark movie. This movie shows the other side of differently able people that they also have love , fun, intelligency, prankness etc.

PC acting very different and looks impressive, but Ranbir acting is simlar like APKGK wild and wacky except this time he plays a mute, deaf character.

Wow that looks really interesting..We saw the seven characters of PC in "Saat Khoon Maaf" here comes the another challenging role of "An Autistic" girl...Way to go girly.. Seems like you really give some time on reading scripts and choosing roles (except few).. same goes with Ranbir..He can act, at least better than SRK (If compare to his early age in BW)..Ileana is so ordinary looking girl..I bet if Vidya cut down her weight and wear such outrageous outfits she will look way better than her.. last but not least, Shumona is such a cutie pie..I like her in comedy circus with Kapil..So looking forward to watch this movie..

when i saw him for the first time i thought that he is going to do this stupid romantic comedies but after watching wake up sid rajneeti and rockstar he became my favourite actor.

actually i think it's a departure from the norm (in bollywood films at least). The way PC's character acts seems very close to the behavior of mentally challenged individuals. Granted in the past such characters were presented superficially and with no depth what so ever, but PC's character seems to bring a more realistic approach. I hope that will be the case or the trailer has done a good job of only showing scenes in which her character shines.
@Ranbir is the BEST out there right now in terms of ACTing alone!
