Mahurat of Vashu Bhagnani's 'Ajab Gazaab Love'

Mahurat of the film ‘Ajab Gazabb Love’ was held on Friday at Mumbai’s Mehboob studio. The film is produced by Pooja Entertainment & Films, and it stars Arjun Rampal, Jackky Bhagnani, Nidhi Subbaiah, Kirron Kher, Darshan Jariwala & Arshad Warsi in a special appearance. The film is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.

Apart from the actors of the film, several prominent names from Bollywood turned up to support producer Vashu Bhagnani . While Sajid Khan broke the traditional coconut to get the film to an auspicious start, Rajkumar Santoshi gave the clap, Boney Kapoor rolled the camera and David Dhawan called action. The mahurat of the film was surely a star studded affair. Also, seen at the mahurat were actress Dia Mirza, Sajid-Wajid, Anu Malik, Satish Kaushik, Satish Shah, Shradha Pandit & Ratan Jain among others.

“I am really happy that the film has gone on floors and people from the industry were a part of it and came to convey their best to us. The concept of the film is really different from what anyone has ever seen before,” says producer Vashu Bhagnani.

What stole the show at this mahurat apart from the actors was a red colour car called Avanti, which will be an integral part of the film. Jackky Bhagnani who plays a car engineer in the film says, “ I shot the first scene today and it feels great to be back in front of the camera again. In the film I play a car engineer and personally too I love cars f - so that’s something that is absolutely me in the film. In the film I design the cheapest sports car in the world and apart from that the film also has an unusual love story and a good dose of humor too.”

“I am so happy to be back in the groove and extremely excited too. The film has a fantastic script, good star cast and a great production house – all the reasons I am a part of this venture. And of course we have a beautiful looking car in the film which makes it even more interesting,” says the director of the film.

Ajab Gazabb Love is slated to release on 24th October 2012.
