The most correct list in my opinion (interns of acting and star power)

These 5 ladies are faaab actors and are getting some great roles in the future. Plus, they are the popular 5 in the industry right now :)
Vidya is taking control over all the awards and dramatic roles but she's not like wanted by the public. The young bimbos seems more interesting and popular than Vidya who is a real actress! :/
Aishwarya - NO MATTER WHAT! She's is still known as the Queen Of Bollywood and without her nothing is the same. But who's actually rulling the film industry right now is Kareena, Katrina, Priyanka and Deepika in some way. Rani is another case of being a Queen but haven't took back the control and power yet! But she's coming to stay, she already won many awards for NOKJ! ;)
My favorites actresses are Aishwarya and Rani! These are real talented women and beauty together.

My TOP 5 slightly different, here goes:
1. Priyanka Chopra
I'm totally impressed with her in 7KoonMaaf (Thanks to the husbands also). Watching some of her movies, from Andaaz, Aitaraaz, Karam, Yakeen, Salaam-e-ishq, Fashion, Dostana & Kaminey, What's Your Raashee?, Anjaana Anjaani, I think we all agree she make a huge progress this past few years.
2. Vidya Balan
I watched her in Parineeta w/ Saif. Although a new comer yet she could carry the character SO well. Again in Eklavya, then as a mad ghost in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Paa, Ishqiya, NOKJ & of course The Dirty Picture.
3. Rani
What could I say... she's brilliant in acting & dancing
4. Kareena
Yes of course she has Box-office movies on her list & COULD ACT but unfortunately she stuck in "friendly girl" characters. Chameli will be missed :p
5. Katrina Kaif
With Box offices & smooth dance moves in her pocket unfortunately she also trapped in "friendly girl" characters. Actually Deepika or Kangana are better in terms of the variety of characters they played.
This TOP 5 should beware of Konkona, Chitrangada Singh & Kalki
Only vidya.. Priyanka comes a close second.. Kareena is decent, but nothing great as she fancies herself to be.. Katrina should be banned from acting!

the is a weak attempt by sal to make his favorites looks good. in what world does rani figure in any top 5? she has more flops than any other actresses on there and she is not good to look at. come on you got to be good looking to be a top actress. her time has expired in 2005 . kareena and katrina rule presently. priyanka has a chance to ellipse them this year provided barfee does well at the b.o
the top spots definitely belong to priyanka or kareena. priyanka has proven to the world that hard work pays off as today she is probably the most versatile actress in the industry. on the other hand kareena has acting flowing in her veins. she doesn`t have to try too much to pull off a role. its in her blood. priyanka is a way better dancer than kareena who just can`t dance. kareena has more boxoffice success than priyanka but it is only due to her getting roles opposite khans. as of now priyanka is #1 because she improves with everymovie and is not concerned about commercial success but critical acclaim. for kareena to be #! she will have to do more meaningful roles not just a khans girl frind or wife.
vidya can`t be #1 cos she can`t take a role like priyanka in don 2
Why is katrina on the list? she is just the next Helen, as in Item Queen.
i must say gone are the Hema malini, Sridevi, Madhuri days when we had complete # 1 actresses who could dance act and had boxoffice success. in terms of completeness only priyanka is close to these three legends for her superior dancing ability over her pals.
Well no-one is a complete package. Right now, Kareena has great hits, many 100 crore + movies, and has a few performance oriented roles lined up (Agent Vinod, Heroine). However, she lacks the dancing department.
Vidya has critical acclaim, great acting, lot of awards, performance oriented movies but only suitable for niche cinema, she can't be a typical commercial glamorous heroine, also lacks dancing department
Priyanka has 2 recent 100 crore + movies(Don2, agneepath), has earlier proved herself with meaty roles (fashion, 7 khoon maaf) , is great dancer, is versatile performer (see zee cine awards and filmfare), is beautiful, glamorous ,sexy and has another performance oriented role coming up in barfee. But apart from Krish -3, none of her upcoming movies look money spinners at box office so she might have to take a back seat
Katrina- whatever she touches becomes gold, is a miracle of destiny. All movies of her become superhit ; although she barely has a 10-15 minutes role in most of her movies. Also, hardly knows to speak or act. Is beautiful, graceful and energetic dancer. Is going to rule 2012 and 2013 with ETT, YRF next and Dhoom-3, Dostana -2
Ash cannot be mentioned at this time since she is on maternity leave, lets see when she comes back
Rani also does not have any box -office pull nowadays, nor is she a leading lady anymore. She is not being considered for A-lister roles anymore
