That certainly can be one reason of hatred, in fact.
However, there are many other roots of hatred: ie. revenge, insecurity, dislike due to to racism and/or personal negative issues and/or history, etc.

Ever have an ex one hates? We all do. We don't hate them out of jealousy.. we hate them because they let us down somehow and/or they pinch our negative button.

So a blanket statement like this won't work in all cases.
Also, in the cases of celebrity dislike, most sane ppl will not like a celebrity for whatever reasons, but have no time for hatred. Hatred takes too much negative energy and hurts the hater. For fans, it's best to ignore the 'hate' and realize that 'hate/love' is part of the celebrity culture and an indication of the fame the celebrity has.

People are so stupid!!! Her shoulders are not massive!!! Deepika and Sonam both are beautiful!!! They both have different style. I personally like both of them, pretty in their own way!! People only hate on other people when they're jealous!!
