Kajol in Indian or Western wear?
Kajol was always known more for her acting abilities and less for her fashion sense. But sometime mid 2012, Kajol went in for a complete fashion makeover. Kajol who often opted for her designer friend Manish Malhotra's sarees and suits was now seen in figure hugging gowns. Her fans loved the makeover. Her initial tiding was great. But her recent appearances at couple of events drew a lot of flak which compelled me to make this post ;-) So my question to you is - Is Kajol trying too hard to look glamorous? Do you like her Indian or Western looks? In my opinion, she needs to hire a good stylist who can work with her body type, especially for her western looks. What do you think ?

when u r broad, u must stay clear off shiny fabrics like satin ! and those legs are way too broad around the ankle and cuff to show off ........ and she could also go a lil easy on her face.....with such high voltage make up on, she looks ashen !

Traditional all the way! She's got thunder thighs and arms, therefore any leg show or bare arms are a total turn off!

BOTH.. but she doesn't style herself well when it comes on western clothes.... like the grey dress in the first picture.. at GQ awards or something.. the fabric does no good to her... but 10/10 for makeup and hairdo...

I'd say Indian, cause the western outfits really emphasizes her thick legs and the Indian outfits puts the emphasis on her unique face :-)
She has a beautiful face. At the GQ awards based on her face alone, she scores high. The let down is often her hair, which she has been taking care of more lately and her body shape. You can tell that she has let herself go for years, in terms of food and lack of exercise. However, this is not the main issue. She can choose the lifestyle she wants to have and should not feel the need to do anything because she feels pressurized. The issue is her choice of clothes. We are used to seeing such clothes on people who are "fit" or "in shape" and the perception is generally that "such types of clothes suits them". They have the body for it. Look at Aishwarya for example. She is not fit but appears to be because she dresses cleverly in such a way to conceal some and enhance other body parts or features. The same could be said of Rani or Vidya. Rani has the same problem areas that Kajol has but dresses in such way that it focuses on her positives and the negatives fades away. Vidya sticks to the old saree which is the safe given her past fashion faux pas. Kajol on the other hand does not do that. She should not be wearing sleeveless which shows the flabs, texture of clothes which is fitted closely to the skin and we see the outline of her body, which lets face it even the best bodies, is revealing and awkward. The outift in which she looks best is hands down the last picture in the golden saree. Only one arm is showing the other is lightly concealed by the saree, the hair and make up looks fabs.

I have only liked kajol because of her appearance in srk movies like kkhh and dil wale dulhania le jain ge, otherwise i wont go for any of her own movies, and wouldn't have noticed her,besides she has good acting skills which the likes of katrina obviously lack
she should stick to sarees, she looks the best in them!
