Evoking a cowboy sense, a unisex trend that has been doing the rounds for quite some time now is plaid. Checks in shirts, dresses, shorts and the like, it is a style that is as trendy as it is smart.

Our Bollywood boys including style guru Manish Malhotra swear by it. It is easy to team it up with shorts, denims, cargos and formal pants as well.

For the girls, options are varied. From dresses, to pleated skirts, tunics and shirts; there is a wide range to choose from. Radiant red is a popular colour and Kareena looks breath taking in the colour. Kangana brought plaid back in the limelight by donning a dress in the print to the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla party.
