The red saree faceoff
Aishwarya at the London premiere of Provoked in 2007 and Vidya on the sets of a TV show in 2011 wore a similar looking red saree. Who wins your vote in this saree face-off?

Its not a fair comparison...Ash is overloaded with makeup whereas vidhya is not at her best....she is gained weight for the role n has minimal makeup...

Face, makeup, hairstyle, accessories, sari, and overall look - Aishwarya beats Vidya in every department. But I dont think this is a fair comparision honestly.
OMG Aishwarya's saree, earrings and makeup is PERFECT. She looks divine. Vidya looks liek a cheap copy
That close up of Aish is too much. If you put the cameras so up in her face, obviously you will see the foundation, thanks to all the super lighting, where as Vidya's lighting is dull so you cant see much!!
And to the hater saying Aish is embarrassed to have brown skin. Her complexion is fair. Just as it was in her childhood. You're completely blinded by hatred to say that. And Aishwarya herself said no to promoting fairness creams unlike many other stars who do anything for money.
The Sari
Aishwaryas sari is definitley the better one. It looks elegant and refined.. Vidyas looks cheap, the material and finishing doesnt look great..
The Makeup
Aishwarya looks pasty and washed out, but thats the crazy camera flash paired with the SPF in her foundation, gives her a slight grey tinge to the skin. The eyes are great though. Vidyas makeup is pretty much perfection. Her skin looks bronze and the eyes look so good on her.
The Accessories
Vidyas earings look cheap again.. Whats the point of them, they just blend in to the hair. Aishwaryas are way too blinged out. Both fail on this I think..
The Hair
Aishwaryas hair looks limp and flat, it needs a boost. It looks really shiny and healthy though. Vidyas hair,however looks so sexy with the red sari. The voluminous curls look great on her.
