Il put it this way...if you got cha attend a wedding or an event, any day it's Manish's creations....they are classy, usually flowy and enhance that sex appeal in a women and he truly follows the less is more funda....
Where as, if its my own wedding, its a sabya any day...his use of rich fabrics like silk and brocade, rich color palette, and that good old indian charm with fabrics.....

Sabyasachi is a better designer in terms of creativity, experimentation, and incorporating indian fabric and patterns in western cuts and designs but manish is a safer choice for bollywood actresses atleast since they can hardly ever successfully pull off a sabyasachi creation. Vidya, Aishwarya, and Rani almost always end up in the same pieces or color palette, and almost always wear it wrong. Manish's creations are easier to pull off and make almost anyone look good.

Sabyasachi for me. His clothing seems more thought out from a stylistic standpoint and and I adore the harmonizing of fabrics and patterns. While I like some Manish it seems to rely far too much on fussy decoration and bling for bling's sake.

I love the use of subtle and unique hues in Sabyasachi's designs. His use of embellishments, contrast and texture really brings out an old world charm in each of his pieces, each looking like a work of art, whereas Malhotra is confused whether his designs should channel more of the modern or more of the traditional. He fails to strike a balance and it's evident in his clothes, which usually come out looking like a mess design and colors. And on another note, his designs more often than not are too loud, garish and gaudy for my taste. I for one love simple but unique pieces that don't sear the eyes and overwhelm the senses and Sabyasachi does all that effortlessly! BRAVO SABYASACHI! =)
