Sonam kapoor walked the Cannes red carpet 2012 in a beautiful creation by Alexander McQueen Pre-fall 2012. Personally i am a huge fan of Sonam kapoor. She surely looked gorgeous but something was missing may be her beautiful smile. So much better than the last year. Kudos to Sonam for trying something really new.I am in love with this look.

Nude colors dont look the best on our brown skin tone.. What's up with Mallika Sherawat and Sonam wearing pale/brown and dull colors..I am not an Aishwarya fan but she is smart enuff to realize that..
I think that, the loud make-up and red lipstick ruined the look.. She should have let the dress do all the talking by going for a more subtle make-up..the black dress, red lipcolor, red nails are all too much together
I think Sonam looked drop dead gorgeous... tho I'm not liking her make up and all but then it's not her fault... thumbs up from my side for making such bold bindass choice.. love her.. keep rocking Sonam..

A bg Nay..Sonam runied the entire look, her stylist should have borrowed the main style tip for this kind of dress, tie her hair. Then the dress, should have been tucked at the waist, it is ill fitting.

NaY for me, it's the kind of dress that looks good in fashion mags but not so much in real life.
I agree with the others who said it works better on the model. Maybe this is why: on the model (and possibly Photoshop is the cause) the face, arms leg area (under skirt) all match to the same skin tone. On Sonam, the tones don't match so the look doesn't come together as well.
This dress make her look like she has no waist! Just broad from top to bottom. Wish she had worn her hair like the model's. This kind of look is only suitable for pale blondes or brunettes. I don't know why Sonam and Freida have been wearing black and other muted colors. It's not the best for the Indian skin tone. Jewel colors look so good on Indians.
disappointed.....She makes the dress look very CHEAP which is very rare for Sonam....Easily, the worst-dressed celeb at 2012 Cannes!
