Last night saw the who’s who grace the red carpet at the Zee Cine Awards. From Ranveer Singh to Deepika Padukone to Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, to name a few, stars turned up at the event in full glory putting their best foot forward giving us the best and worst dressed from the event held last night.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika made a stunning appearance on the red carpet in the colour of the night - red. She came dressed in a red strapless customised Gaurav Gupta number with a structured bodice and sweeping floor train. She opted for not accessorising at the event, which worked well with the outfit. A red lip that matched her outfit and poker straight hair which was half up, filled in brows and loads of highlighter, completed her look. Though we did think she could have picked a better outfit, she pulled off this look quite well.

Alia Bhatt

The petite actress was also present at the award ceremony and looked pretty in a floral gown with a plunging neckline from Celia Kritharioti's latest collection. She kept it simple with tiny earrings and no other accessories. Her wispy curls were pulled back with a few strands left loose. Her makeup was also on point with basic eyeliner, filled-in brows, pink blush and of course the highlighter, completed the actress' look that we are fawning over!

Janhvi Kapoor

The Dhadak star came dressed in a ravishing red mosaic gown by Atelier Zuhra for the event. The strapless mosaic gown is quite a hit with Bollywood beauties as many of them like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai, etc. have also sported different versions of it. She too went sans accessories for the event. For makeup, she opted for a bright red lip that matched her gown, basic eyeliner and blush and filled in brows with a sleek bun. While her dress was beautiful, we think she could have experimented with her hair and makeup as it didn't quite go with her outfit.

Sonam Kapoor

The Neerja actress strutted the red carpet in a lilac gown from Maison Yeya's Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The outfit had a plunging neckline and came with a cape, which added some drama to the outfit. While we are a fan of most of Sonam's looks, this one didn't quite do it for us as it didn't flatter her at all. She looked pretty with her hair parted in the centre, curled and half up. Her filled in brows, and minimal make up look was also perfect.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif took home an award last night in a floral embroidered grey and black Reem Acra dress with a deep neck. A yellow ribbon-like band was tied in a bow around her waist, and we were left wondering what it did for the already dull outfit. The dress didn't do justice to her at all! Her minimal make-up and soft curls were on point though.

Kriti Sanon

Luka Chuppi star Kriti Sanon was also present at the award show last evening. She looked the best out of the lot in a gorgeous black and ocean blue mermaid gown by Amit Aggarwal that had a plunging neckline. She looked edgy with her hair parted in the centre and tied back into a slick ponytail. To complete this look, her accessory of choice was a pair of silver earrings with a large Sapphire blue stone. We are digging this look!

Malaika Arora

Malaika Arora looked sizzling at the event in a deep red Julien Macdonald cutout dress with a thigh-high slit. She wore strappy silver stilettos and drop diamond earrings to completed her look. Malaika's makeup was also on fleek. Filled in brows, winged eyes, a deep red lip and barrel curls, went perfectly well with her outfit.

Kiara Advani

Kiara Advani was also present at the event and she came in a sunshine yellow outfit with silver embellishments from Labour Joisie. We thought the gown with a long trail didn't do justice to the actress at all and looked quite tacky on her. She accessorised her look with stacked-up rings and a pair of multi-coloured strappy stilettos. She pulled her hair back in a loose twisted braid with a few strands left loose. Metallic gold eyeshadow, well-lined eyes and nudey-pink lips completed her look.

Bollywood’s leading men like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh too were present at the event looking their dapper best. Whose look was your favourite? Comment below and let us know.
