‘Padmavat’ actor, Deepika Padukone had a roller coaster ride last year. From the anticipatory and controversial release of her film and, a big sigh of relief with the tremendous success of the film, to ending the year on a sweet note with a happily ever after with her long time beau, Ranveer Singh. After wrapping up the long wedding festivities, Deepika Padukone is now slowly and steadily getting back to work. The actress was in attendance at an event in Mumbai earlier today.

Deepika Padukone has been always vocal about her struggle with depression and has been running a foundation, The Live Love Laugh to extend support to those suffering from depression. Earlier today, she was in attendance at a book launch event, which includes her year long fight with depression. The actress has been playing around and experimenting with her looks lately and today as well, she pleasantly surprised us with her look. She wore a colour blocked outfit from design duo Gauri and Nainika that included a pink, off shoulder, ruffle detail top that she paired with red, high waisted pants. Bronzy makeup, hair tied up, a pair of pearl earrings and a pair of fuchsia heels from Balenciaga rounded her look out.

I do like the idea of the look and I like the top, however the fit of the pants is something I struggle with. It didn't look the most flattering. Also, I love a bold shoe choice, but the magenta pumps didn't feel cohesive with it.

Big nayyyyy! Too much going on with her outfit. The shoes are stunning and should be worn with a plain monochrome outfit to make it stand out.

Yayyyy!
