It is clearly a case of like father, like son in the Bachchan household. And this can be seen in Bachchan senior and junior’s love for velvet blazers and jackets. Velvet in a host of colours is a go-to for them for a range of events, so much so that Big B even sported a velvet sherwani for his B 70 birthday celebrations. Junior B is still more subtle in his choices, often opting for black or blue, but Senior Bachchan goes all out with velvet jackets in colours like maroon, red and so on.

Guys, just leave them alone. Velvet might be hot for you and me but not them, as they must be living in airconditioned homes.
Also I think they are way better off than people who are under dressed. It is nice to see people covered than many bollywood celebrities who bearly wear anything more than a hand kerchief to cover their modesty.
Amitabh can wear whatever he wants. he has the personality to make anything work.
