Oh by the way they look light becoz they are actually light..and then there are so many lights on them.the dark ones are never made light in runways e.g iraj is really dark and she's always dark .then veneeza and neha are not too light and they look wheatish never white.,aamna shaikh also is not too white. but for some reason the poster didnt post them or may be they were not doing modelling that day so many girls that i know are not there. btw iraj is usually the show stopper and one of the best models.you can google her(iraj manzoor)

anyways people need a excuse to talk crap about pakistan whenever something pakistani is on this site..and pakistanis as well need to calm down

its just clothes.. many of these run up to 8,000$ yes eight thousand dollars.. so not everyone can afford them but these designers have demand globally from indians and pakistanis.so everyone needs to calm the hell down and just enjoy the clothes

We are wearing in India almost the same designs dresses (long kameez with churidar and trouser) in 2000 to 2006.
Quite a long time, Anarkali suits fashion was only in India and now in pakistan, the fashion rope hanging with the dress, neck designs and embroidery work on the sleeves first was that only in the collections of Manish Malhotra. Yellow saree and red blouse is quite same from manish malhotra’s collection saree, and the second dress is also very similar and the 4th dress only is almost the same from 2009 collection, All pakistani designers copied the designs and inspire from indian movies and indian fashion and It is a fact.

I like Pakistani fashion too.... but I hate it when u guys try to drag India down... you dont like Indian clothes fine... no one if forcing Paki's to wear them.... I also know that many Indians would not touch Pakistani clothes just like how you said paksitani's would not go for Indian clothes !!! Coz we have different styles..... we wear saris (with each state having its own representation of it)... we wear....churidaar...we wear ghara choli.....its entirely different from what people wear in Pakistan. Would people in Pakistan go for western or arab designers ??? Then why do you guys come and say " paksitanis are better ?? We would then just go to Vera Wang in that case.

Why this desperate need to sell Pakistan always as the superior one !!

girl you dont know anything about our designers, top designers like hsy, umer saaeed, karma, sana and safinaz and may others have showcased their stuff in miami, london, dubai and new york fashion show, since last few years Pakistan fashion is making it big in international market, just because you are not aware of it, does not mean its not happening,

And what are they exhibiting.. the same wedding wear ?? And how many ppl actually buy that ?? Unless they are South Asians !!

wait a min, if that was the case that designes were copy of manish malhotra every single person out here would have been saying the same, but the truth is its completely different work, just look at the cuts and embroidery, do you get this kinda elegant embelishment in India? so dear its not a copy... also, just because someone compare it to manish malhotra, does not automatically make them Pakistani, so please i think its you who needto stop puttting down others and refrain from using offensive language. let's not ruin this thread by calling others with name.

Around how much do you think these outfits cost? Just a rough average figure?

nothing above is below 20 thousand ruppees,,
some of them are above 50 thousand ruppes, esp Asifa and Nabeel ones, they go upto 1 lac and above as well (bridal ones)because there is alot of detailing and lots of yards of fabric used, I think you can do slight changes, reduce work on them, then the prices are lowered as well. you just gotta talk with them,some of the designers are considerate they will lower the prices, depending on how much work and cloth is being cut-off.

heavy formals and bridals made by top designers are expensive in Pakistan, just ike everywhere else

the model wearing the black clothes in the beginning is especially beautiful
