The lovely Isha Koppikar was seen at the Jewellers award Jury meet in a nice pink sari paired with a garish sequined blouse. The entire look would have been stunning, if only she had draped the sari well, and paired it with a better blouse. Do you agree? Well,we know this is not the first time the ladies of Bollywood make such mistakes. Let us look at some of their Bad Blouse Choices - blouses that have ruined the sarees!
These blouses scream out "bling bling" over the rooftop. The sarees by themselves have enough embellishments to look attractive. I have no clue why they had to choose so much more glitter! Do I hear the same from you?
BBC 1: Priyanka Chopra, Amisha Patel, Shilpa Shetty, Isha Koppikar
If not always, at least at times like this, the 'less is more' dictum pays off. The long sleeved blouse with a variety of texture/fabric/embellishments etc sometimes make the look too sophisticated to look good. Aint it? Odd one out here, Jaya Bachhan's blouse looks to be made out of some cheap fabric and hardly enhances her saree.
BBC 2: Shabana Azmi, Kiran Rao, Jaya Bacchan, Kajol Devgan
Pretty faces, lovely colors and ornate blouses in failed attempts to steal the thunder! Do you agree?
BBC 3: Sonali Bendre, Katrina Kaif, Freida Pinto, Mughda Godse
It is good to be different;but being different alone does not make it look good, right? Taking steps to make the traditional blouse look like a peice of modern art does not always work, does it?
BBC 4: Celina Jaitley, Sophie Choudary, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez
So,let me ask you this time - which is the worst choice of blouse amongst these? Remember any other such instances?
