Which pakistani fashion is running now almost same designs clothes once had in the Indian fashion. All pakistani designer copied the designs and inspire from indian movies and indian fashion. the same dresses designs (long kameez with churidar or trouser) which we saw in the movies of 1999 to 2006, and also we used to wear. In 2011 many pakistani designer copied from manish malhotra's collections.

"those who say Pakistani work is not innovative, you seriously need to check out their fashion scene, just go to PV Pakistan posts or bargello, you will see it urself. i say bring Pakistani designers to India, do a Indo-Pak fashion show "
Ha Ha !!! Nice try!!! LOL.. You seriously think we are that jobless? Go do your own fashion show(in your own warped minds i.e) At every given opp you attack India and everything Indian and yet you need us to throw you crutches to stand up. How shameless can you get?!

Really bargello? I'm sorry. even though I'm Pakistani, I can't agree with you on that, everyone here know that they are overpriced and copied off the catwalk of other designers, not to mention the quality is very bad Lol very bad example... There are Pakistani designers who are good at traditional clothing, but they are not making an attemt to mordenize their style, I feel like we are stuck in time, I guess atleast the Indian designers are trying something new & risker!!

Fashion is Subjective, not everything that top designers design such as Prada, Gucci, Versace can be worn by normal people like you and me - it’s a way of expression! Can u guys plz stop comparing pakistani fashion with Indian - becoz they both are different nations with different markets, it’s clear that India is trying to compete with a broader international market, while Paki is still sticking to its own & doing nothing innovative or creative for that matter! Let the truth be told. (Advice: If you like Paki stuff so much, go to a Paki site - because u wouldn't go to a Paki site and criticize them because we all know how tolerate they are, they would just tell u to get F*** off )

well if indian designers are so impressed with Pakistani work, its not Paksitanis fault, and those who say Pakistani work is not innovative, you seriously need to check out their fashion scene, just go to PV Pakistan posts or bargello, you will see it urself. i say bring Pakistani designers to India, do a Indo-Pak fashion show and let the world decide who is creative and innovative. and i agree there should be no comparison, both have different styles, cuts and embellishment. what is IN in India is not what Pakistani women wear, and same goes for Pakistani trends.

p.s tarun is way better thn manish.

what is going on with you Anon.(Sat, 2012-02-18 23:45)?! some designers make ready-to-wear, some prefer haute-couture, some do both. Check Alexander McQueen.
