It is not a perfect film, but it is definitely well worth a viewing as much for the quality of the acting. It is a decent enough film propped up by a wonderful pivotal performance from Vidya Balan, but parts of it most notably the facile climax scupper the possibility of it soaring to the heights
Vidya Balan is completely in her element, infusing Sulu with an abundance of infectious optimism without being aggravating. Manav Kaul, in particular, is perfectly cast as Sulus husband Ashok a man trying his best to make his wife happy, but also faces work pressure that gets deflected into anger.
