Everyone knows him as the “funny guy” in the Sprite commercial but what not many people know is that Kavin Dave has bagged the lead role in the film Bumboo. Bumboo is the official adaptation of the French film “L’emmerdeur” which was written by Francis Webber whose been credited with directing brilliant films including A Dinner Game (Indian version: - Bheja Fry)
TFI International, France is the associate producer for this film and it is the first ever official Indo – French co – operations as a remake of a French film. The film when launched in France first time created a history of sorts with its box office success and is considered a cult film even today.
“Bumboo is a clean action comedy with a universal appeal and is based on the idea that in life we all meet someone who inadvertently comes and screws up our best laid plans and that is what creates the humour”. Says Jagdish Rajpurohit the producer and director of Bumboo
The name has already created a stir in the industry and people are really expecting a laugh riot from this one.
