Synopsis
First time producer Lara Dutta has come up with a comedy movie ‘Challo Dilli’ which is a story about Mihika Mukherjea, who is a focused senior vice president in a financial institution. Mihika misses her flight back to Delhi from Mumbai and comes across Manu Gupta, played by Vinay Pathak.
The character of Manu is completely opposite to that of Mihika and is quite loud and obnoxious. Both get stuck with each other on their journey to Mumbai. This is when their bizarre journey begins, which is full of adventure. The two lead characters in the movie also portray the real India on their journey by plane, rail & road, which shows different colors of the country.
The journey is a life-changing one for Mihika, who hopes to tell the adventures of her 1 and a half day Delhi-Mumbai trip to her grand-kids.
