The story of Laxmii starts about When Rashmi's (Kiara Advani) estranged mother invites her to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, she sees it as a chance to repair their relationship. The woman brings her husband Asif (Akshay Kumar), whom she has been secretly yearning to see again.

Laxmii Review He is a self proclaimed hardcore lover and there are very few things in life Asif wouldn't do for his spouse of three years. It is this very reason that prompts him to pack his bags and rush off to Daman to patch things up between Rashmi and her family, and maybe procure a place .
Rashmi Kiara Advani is married to Asif Akshay Kumar a small businessman who sells tiles and granite. Their interreligious marriage has alienated Rashmi from her family, especially from her father Rajesh Sharma. Asif is an atheist who works to eradicate superstition from society in his spare time.
