Synopsis
A country, a common man and a conspiracy will dominate Prashant Chadha's action film AZAAN in October of 2011.
Shot across multiple international locations including France, Romania and Sudan, the sleek production will be released under the banners of JMJ Entertainment PVT LTD, Alchemia Films and Percept Picture Company.
The film introduces Energy drink owner Sachin Joshi to Hindi feature films as the hero. Music is by Salim-Sulaiman and the lyricist is Amitabh Bhattacharya.
According to reports, American singer Shakira will sing a Latin influenced solo dance number for AZAAN, whose lyrics will be in English with a smattering of Hindi. The song will feature South African model Candice Boucher, but Shakira might possibly make a small appearance.
