DK Bose composer to ROCK the shaadi

Ram Sampath, who made it big with the DK Bose and Switty Switty tracks from the recent hit Delhi Belly, has been snapped up for Balaji and iRock's co-production, ROCK THE SHAADI.

Sampath, who has been offered to score for a host of films since Delhi Belly, is said to have taken up ROCK THE SHAADI, as he loved the funky plot of the film and wanted to work with the banners associated with the film.

The film's music is said to be an assortment of club-friendly, funky and folk, for which Ekta Kapoor and director Navdeep Singh thought Sampath would be the apt choice.

The mad rom-com with a twist, stars Abhay Deol and Genelia D’Souza, together for the first time. It will release in Summer 2012.
