Chitrangda Singh to do an item number for Joker

Dusky actress Chitrangda Singh is the newest name in the long line of actresses to go the 'item girl' way. The actress will perform a raunchy item number for Sirish Kuder's Joker which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

The director has managed a coup of sorts by roping in two item songs for the movie as it has already been confirmed that Sonakshi will also feature in an item number for Joker. This will be Chitrangda's first ever item number which will be choreographed by Farah Khan, who is the magician behind some of the most iconic item songs of Bollywood. She will be grooving to the tunes of the sultry song Kafirana which will star the movie’s lead pair as a part of the audience.

Talking about his choice of getting Chitrangda on board Sirish Kunder said, “We wanted a fresh yet sensual face, and not the usual, go-to item girls of today. Also, Chitrangda hasn't done an item song before, so the novelty value is very high. She was exactly what we were looking for.”
