Vidya Balan who essays the role of Silk in The Dirty Picture promises audiences a whole new side of her in this movie. Despite the name she said, “There is no dirt in the movie. Dirtiness is all in the mind.”
Vidya has a relationship with all three leading men Emraan Hashmi, Naseruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor in the movie, albeit very different ones.
She also clarified that she hasn’t played Silk Smitha in the movie. She went to add that while the movie maybe loosely inspired by her, it is largely based on dancing south Indian stars from that period. Talking about her experience she said, “It has been exhausting, tiring yet exhilarating and fulfilling role for me.”
And to put on weight for her character, she happily went all out. “I love cream biscuits and indulged myself. I had them and mithai and everything else that I love.”

Vidya please do sober roles and act your god damn age, your're not a 20 something anymore.. She's been parading around her body and kissing frivolously on screen recently and says dirt is in people's mind.. No aunty a reality check please!!
Vidya aunty? she s born n 1978, will kareena be called aunty aftr 2 years? or rani who s of d same age?Or is it cos she s fat .In that case Kareena was a fatso wen she came.
If you don't want people to "think dirty" then don't call your film The Dirty Picture! The repressed Indian man will surely go to watch it with that title - that was the intention wasn't it?
Oh yes Vidya...... you shed your clothes, show us your horrible fat body and say that our minds are dirty.
