Rarely read about actors talking so frankly. It's more about their co-stars than their wife. Vivek wears his heart on his sleeve. Such a gentleman, Priyanka has done well.
I think, it is great that he shows lots of love for his wife.
from the comments it quite evident how indian men are brought up to view their wife and women in general. they have no regard for wife.atleast most of them r that way.
vivek is rare amoung desi men the only time i went shopping with one he took me to a store his sister shops at and picked out this tiny sweater when i tried it on and complained i looked fat he said "thats because you are" in front of the store girl! never again

when Vivek and Aish were dating/promoting Kyon Ho Gaya Na, they had a cover article on Stardust. It was an interview that asked Vivek what the most romantic things he had ever done for his lady were and asked Aish what was the most romantic things a man had done for her.
Vivek was soooo romantic in the article, gushing about 'his girl' (who he almost never mentions by name, but slips up once or twice) and the elaborate things he's done for her. On Valentines day he travelled to Calcutta (where aish was shooting Raincoat at the time) and put together a scavenger hunt like thing to surprise her.
In her bit of the interview Aish never ever mentions who the man is (But is pretty clearly vivek, given the interview) and she says the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her was on her 30th birthday, her bf had created a birthday party gift for each of her bdays that he had not been with her, so a first bday present with toys, a 15th bday present, a 22nd bday present etc to mark each time they weren't together physically but in their hearts.
It was such a sweet article (except vivek came off as very show-offy, a trait that would forever mark him but i guess when he was with Aish, it was somewhat justified, he was on top of his game at the time)
and then 2-3 years later she was married to his friend.
go figure.
