Shahid Kapoor is happy for his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, who married Saif Ali Khan Tuesday, and hopes that she doesn't quit acting after marriage.
"Marriage is a big decision and it's a big occasion. I wish them a very happy married life. I hope they are happy together. I hope Kareena keeps working as she is one of the finest actresses we have," Shahid told reporters Tuesday when asked what would he like to say on Kareena's wedding to Saif.
"I know Babita aunty and Randhir (Kapoor) uncle for quite a while," added the actor.
Shahid was speaking at Pioneer India Electronics event. He unveiled their new range of smart receivers and powerful speakers.
Kareena-Saif's wedding has been a hush-hush affair, but Shahid, who hasn't planned anything about his marriage, says he will not hide anything.
"I haven't decided about my marriage. You guys will make me find a girl and fall in love. But whenever I will get married, I will not be hiding it and doing it in a corner. Media will be welcomed," he said.
When asked was he invited for Kareena's wedding, he said: "What do I say on this? Let's stick to Pioneer."
Any tips on how to handle link ups and break ups?
"What can I say on break ups and link ups. Love is beautiful but everything should not be taken seriously and one important thing is that there are many aspects in life," he said.

Kareena isnt the type of person to jump around she only had shahid kapur and for 4 years straight and he obviously messed up with that aunty vidya and maybe others and so things went sour, kareena isnt the type to cheat just because she move don quicker, good for her! im sick of girls crying over spilt milk good on her for moving along to someone mature better much more handsome and life experience, he will keep her happy rather than this looser who has a problem with every director, is going no where in life and has no stable relationship and runs after bips and pc for pleasure.

Sometimes, I try to walk in these star's shoes and feel how annoyed and upset they might feel when people tries to poke into their personal life SO much. People loves them, wants to know about them, yes, tht is a part of being a celebrity, but asking questions about these? :/ What would Shahid answer other than that? :|

How awkward! The media in Bollywood will never let people forget their pasts, never. Why bring up old stuff? These people have moved on. Why embarrass them by asking such questions? I guess they believe life is like a bollywood film where heroes and heroines cry over their lost loves forever. These media people should grow up!

I remember the media asked Salman how he felt about Aishwarya's pregnancy and he,too, handled it well. I agree with @PizzaPasta - things have moved in and they are happy in their own space. I think it's totally unnecessary. Why the need to ask such awkward questions? Just for some "masala"?
