Pranab Mukherjee, the current president of India found himself in a soup due to the folly of his son, Abhijith Mukherjee. Commenting on the girls protesting after the recent tragedy that occurred in Delhi, Abhijeet said, "Those who are coming in the name of students in the rallies, sundori, sundori mahila (beautiful women), highly dented and painted, giving interviews in TV and showing off their children, I wonder whether they are students at all," he said, adding, "what's basically happening in Delhi is something like pink revolution, which has very little connection with ground realities."
Though he later withdrew his remarks after it caused a lot of havoc, the insensitive remarks have further caused a dent in this delicate situation. Bollywood on its part expressed shock through twitter messages.

The look on Abhijit Mukherjee's face in Arnab Goswami's debate suggested he wanted to "withdraw" into his mother's womb.

What a dimwit .RT @ndtv: President's son Abhijit Mukherjee apologises for his remarks, says his comments were not meant to hurt anyone.
"Should Abhijeet Mukherjee's sexist comment about women protesters being 'dented and painted' be reciprocated with 'damning and shamming'?"
