Katrina's favourite thirst quencher - water!
|
Actress Katrina Kaif says the first thing she think of when she is thirsty is plain water.
The 28-year-old promotes mango drink Slice, but when asked what she turns to when she is thirsty, she told IANS: "The first thing is water!"
"But when you're looking for something that gives you energy, have something and craving for something different that's where Slice comes into the picture. It's a little more than just something to drink," she added.
Considering that the actress is so fit, how come she promotes a drink, which could be sugar-loaded in nature.
"That was always a concern for me, that is why I did look into it before I signed the brand. But I think the good thing is that they are doing a good job in keeping that part in check," said Katrina.

@ voiceswriter she is a bimbo and we all know that.. :)
i don't understand why pv does not post my comments..
pv post this
thank you
She is either a bimbo or I am a bimbo because that last sentence just sounded very unconcerned and dumb. She looked into it and instead of telling us what her findings were she goes... "but I think the good thing is that they are doing a good job in keeping that part in check..." um...okay. O_o
FYI: The one she endorses is the unhealthiest of the Top 3 brands.
Below is the nutritional information for all 3 (based on 100 ml per serving or 3.3oz per serving):
Frooti: 61 cal, 14 gm carbohydrates
Ingredients: Water, Mango pulp, Sugar
Maaza: 65 cal, 16 gm carbohydrates, vitamin A and calcium
Ingredients: Water, Mango pulp, Sugar
Slice: 73 cal, 18 gm carbohydrates, Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Mango pulp
Frooti has 61 calories and 14 gms of carbohydrates. Maaza was slightly higher at 65 calories and 16 gms of carbohydrates, and Slice had the highest calorie count at 73 calories and 18 gms of carbohydrates. All had minimal amounts of Vitamin A.
The main ingredients for these drinks are water, mango pulp and sugar. For all 3, the first was water. The second, was the game changing one- Frooti and Maaza listed mango pulp, while Slice listed sugar are the second ingredient. Basically, that means that Slice has more added sugar than mango pulp in their drink, whereas Frooti and Maaza have more mango pulp than sugar.

hahah...offer her a buckload of money and she might just endorse anything..
LOL wow !
wow that has to be one of the stupidest and most vague comment I have read "That was always a concern for me, that is why I did look into it before I signed the brand. But I think the good thing is that they are doing a good job in keeping that part in check" . She probably doesn't even know what that drink consists of other than artificial mango flavor--what an dumb airhead. What they won't do to make a dime? Loser.
