The next Kapoor on the block
|
Having caught everyone’s attention in Dharma Productions’ Strangers in the Night directed by Shakun Batra of Ek Main Aur Ek Tu fame and presented by Chivas Studio, Mohit Marwah nephew of Anil and Boney Kapoor , was also the cynosure of all eyes as he made his presence felt at producer-director Karan Johar’s birthday party.
Not the one to harp on his lineage, Mohit, having studied at Theatre School in New York for 2 years, was spotted by Karan Johar ,who was very keen to cast him in the short film in which the actor put up an ovation-gaining performance and ever since there’s been no looking back.
Says a trade source “Mohit Marwah has a certain X-factor to him that you see in very few actors,he’s inherited the Kapoor good looks and is a trained actor who takes his job seriously. Karan Johar and Shakun Batra have been all praise for him and were blown away with his performance in Strangers in the Night….He has been approached by several filmmakers but he is being cautious about the films he signs on”. Adding that , “Mohit despite not having made a formal entry into the industry is also a hit on the social media forum with everyone asking ‘whose that guy” – the buzz only goes to prove that he is a star in the making”.

I want Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor to fail then only this family business'll stop.
-----------------------------------------------------
How is that possible when Ranbir is the most sought after hero after giving hits and solid performance in even his flop movie. You can't hide talent. May be this guy too has inherited more than his fair share of acting genes...

bollywood is a loser industry for the most part, especially when they pull off all this "khaandan" crap
aa jao, tum bhi aa jao, if there's anyone else left like your aunt's uncle's sister's niece or something, bring them over as well. This is Bollywood afterall , no family member gets left behind...ever!
