'Shor' Will Be Screened At MIAAC Film Festival

October 14, 2010 :  Director Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming film 'Shor' starring Tushaar Kapoor will be screened on the opening day of 10th Annual Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival (MIAAC).

The film will be screened in Hindi with English subtitles. It has been inspired from various newspaper stories. The story of the movie is set on the chaotic festival of Ganesha in Mumbai. It revolves around an emigrant, who returns home to an unwelcoming city.

Apart from Tushaar, the film also stars Sendhil Ramamurthy. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are filmmakers, who have won many awards. They write, direct, and produce films together in association with their creative partner, Sita Menon.

Shor is their latest flick, which is a unique satirical crime drama. Tushar Kanti Ray is the director of photography. The music director duo Vishal and Shekhar have composed the music of the film. Roshan Machado has done the background score.

Some other actors like Nikhil Dwivedi, Sundeep Kishan, Pitobash Tripathi, Preeti Desai, Radhika Apte, Girija Oak and Amit Mistry are also playing important roles in the movie.
