Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who wanted to be a sportsperson and whose plan was spoilt by a back injury, started his tryst with theatre with a play at a women's college.
Shah Rukh, who was a student at Delhi University's prestigious Hans Raj College, first performed at the Lady Shriram College.
His directorial debut "Aiyyaa" is barely two months old, but Sachin Kundalkar is already planning his next film. He says he is writing the script at the moment, and will finalise the project soon.
He doesn't want to discuss the project as of now.
"I am writing scripts right now. I cannot disclose the genre at the moment, but I will make the formal announcement in a month or two," Kundalkar told IANS.
Once the script is locked, the director will soon decide the cast and then he plans to start shooting next year.
The shooting of "Kai Po Che!", based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", will be complete within two days, says director Abhishek Kapoor.
"We have been shooting for this film at many different locations. Now there are just two days left for the shooting. UTV will make an official announcement of when the film is slated for release. But I believe it should release by February 2013."
Director Shakun Batra of "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" fame will screen his short film "Strangers In The Night" at the Chivas Studio 2012 Friday.
Filmmaker Karan Johar is the creative mentor for the film, which is about two friends.
"The movie is about two friends and how they have different ideas of romance and love and how it only takes one night to change that perception. The entire film has been treated in a slice-of-life manner," Batra told IANS.
Sagar Ballary of "Bheja Fry" fame is scripting yet another comedy film, which is to go on floors next year. The director says comedy is his forte and he won't give it up for anything.
"Comedy is my forte and I am scripting my next comedy film. Comedy has given me everything in this industry, so I can't give up on that. All I can say is it's not a sequel to any of my previous films. It will be a fresh film," Ballary told IANS.
"I will finish scripting by December and will make an official announcement by Jan 2013," he added.
