But here's a refreshing change in the protocol - Sanjay Gadhvi says he is still very deeply and indelibly connected with the banner and its people even six years after he left the production house. Gadhvi made "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai", "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2" for the banner before moving on to greener pastures.
Shah Rukh's smile floors Deepika
She flaunts dimpled cheeks herself, but actress Deepika Padukone says superstar Shah Rukh Khan's smile is the best she has ever seen. "I think for me, Shah Rukh has the best smile because it's not just about the smile. It's also the energy that he sort of gives out with his smile and the dimples that he and I both share," the 26-year-old said here Friday at the launch of National Oral Health Program by Orbit chewing gum.
RGV plans 'Bhoot 3'
"Bhoot Returns" is yet to release, but filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has already started working on the third film of his "Bhoot" franchise. The filmmaker had shown a 15-minute special clip of "Bhoot Returns" to a specific section of the trade recently and after getting a positive response, he has decided to make the third instalment.
Art show, book, posters for Big B's 70th birthday
Seventy art works, one inspiration - Amitabh Bachchan. For the megastar's 70th birthday celebrations, leading artists have created their interpretations of the entertainer on the canvas for a special exhibition. A coffee table book on the art works will also be launched at the venue, which will even host an exhibition of 35 vintage posters of the actor's movies, collected by film historian S.M.M.Ausaja over the years. Amitabh, who has dedicated four decades of his life to showbiz, turns 70 Oct 11.
Milan brought southern-flavour in Bollywood: Vidya
Actress Vidya Balan, who played southern actress Silk in "The Dirty Picture", says the movie's director Milan Luthria should be given credit for sparking the trend of using southern flavour in the characters and songs of Bollywood. "I did not start (the trend), Milan Luthria did. I am an actor and I work according to the demands of the story. It ('The Dirty Picture') was the story of a southern actress," the 33-year-old said here. Vidya spoke on the sidelines at the launch of Munmun Ghosh's novel "Unhooked" here Friday.
