MoviesStars celebrate Yash Chopra's legacy at 'JTHJ' premiere
The best of Bollywood came to celebrate the legendary legacy of filmmaker Yash Chopra at the premiere of his film "Jab Tak hai Jaan" Monday at Yash Raj Films studios. The cast of the film, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma greeted the guests along with Yash Chopra's son Uday Chopra and wife Pamela. "We are missing him every moment. I hope everyone enjoys the film. His legacy has been wonderfully celebrated," Shah Rukh said. Memories of the late filmmaker filled the red carpet with posters from his pictures placed along the carpet.
Hrithik's dedication leaves Vivek impressed
Actor Vivek Oberoi is highly impressed by his "Krrish 3" co-star Hrithik Roshan as the latter did not stop shooting even after his hand got bruised during a scene. "So impressed with Hrithik. Even with a profusely bleeding cut in the hand, he kept shooting with absolute dedication! Hats off! Inspiring," Vivek posted on Twitter. Vivek plays the antagonist in "Krrish 3", directed by Hrithik's father, Rakesh Roshan.
SRK grew up wanting to be Big B!
As a youngster, Shah Rukh Khan loved watching Amitabh Bachchan's movies, and admits he wanted to be in the megastar's shoes. Shah Rukh, 47, has worked with Big B in movies like "Mohabbatein" and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham". "The greatness of Mr.Amitabh Bachchan is that you can describe your life span with Bachchan films. You have to see it from the point of view of a guy who has grown up wanting to be Amitabh Bachchan," Shah Rukh said on BIG CBS PRIME's "India's Prime Icon".
Ajay organises SOS screening for cricketers
Actor-producer Ajay Devgn organised a special screening of his latest film "Son Of Sardaar" (SOS) for Indian cricketers. Names like Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Virat Kohli came to watch the comic entertainer. The screening was organised here Sunday. Asked about the reason behind a special screening for cricketers, Ajay said: "Some are my friends and they also wanted to see the film and I also wanted to show it to them. SOS is a high energy film." Ajay is confident his film, which hits the screens Tuesday, will get great response at the box office.
Vidya eager for romantic film
Actress Vidya Balan is eagerly waiting to do a romantic film with a good script, and she is open to working with any actor in it. "I love romance. I am just waiting that someone approaches me for a romantic, good relationship story, but nothing exciting has come my way so far. But I am open to any kind of film, I will be happy to do it. I am happy to romance with anyone as long as its a good romance," she says.
