In between her hectic work and shooting schedules, there's one passion Priyanka Chopra always finds time for - books. "Bookstores make me happy. Can spend the whole day just feeling like a bookworm. The smell of the pages are as familiar as your best friend," Priyanka tweeted. Former Miss World, Priyanka, 29, who was last seen in "Barfi!" in the role of an autistic girl, has a slate of projects lined up - "Krrish 3", "Zanjeer" and "Gunday". She is currently in Los Angeles, busy working on the music video of her debut international single "In my city".
It'll take time for brand Bengal to rise: Shah Rukh Khan
Describing West Bengal as the "intellectual centre of the country", the state's brand ambassador and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan Saturday said it would take some time for brand Bengal to rise. "Sometimes things take a little time before they fall in place. As the brand ambassador of Bengal, I would like to get together, sit together and strive to see the brand Bengal goes higher," Shah Rukh said at a promotional event here.
Industry progressive but women-director tag regressive: Reema Kagti
"Talaash" director Reema Kagti terms the Hindi film industry a "very progressive place" where "working conditions for women are good", but she finds the "women directors" tag "regressive". "The term 'women directors' is like reverse prejudice. There are places and parts of our country where it is very tough being a woman, but thankfully, I have never faced that. I had a simple upbringing. My parents always encouraged me and my two sisters," Kagti told IANS in a group interview.

A pool of filmmakers - old and new, wish to work with Amitabh Bachchan. The megastar says that he is swarmed with so many "exciting" projects that he doesn't know what to do. "There are such interesting prospects in the time to come... one does not know which and what must be taken up... each exciting," tweeted the 70-year-old. The actor is currently hosting the sixth season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", and on the big screen, he was last seen in a cameo in "English Vinglish".
SRK tries to look cool in lethal shoes
It seems superstar Shah Rukh Khan is getting experimental with age, thanks to his children. The 46-year-old sported white sneakers accessorised with metal spikes at his daughter Suhana's behest. "Lethal shoes! My little girl said its cool to make a statement with them... 'I'll nail you with my shoes'," tweeted Shah Rukh. He teamed the shoe with a pair of worn-out jeans, as seen in the picture that he posted on the micro-blogging site.
