Salman Khan continues to have a soft spot for his former lady love Katrina Kaif - a fact quite evident during a recent appearance on dance reality show "Dance India Dance L'il Masters". The two actors visited the sets of Zee TV show to promote their upcoming film "Ek Tha Tiger". Sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly, Salman ended up revealing his fondness for Katrina, albeit in a humorous way.
Goa to host first Indian TV festival
The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) Friday announced the launch of a two-day Indian TV Fest, to be held in Goa in November. The festival, scheduled for Nov 2-3, will play host to interactive seminars, key-note sessions, events, content, business services technology and service pavilions, performances and sporting activities. It will be attended by key members of the country's TV industry.
Aamir asks Nitish Kumar to popularise generic medicines
Bollywood star Aamir Khan has urged Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to make available generic medicines in the state widely. Aamir had first highlighted the issue on his TV show "Satyamev Jayate". An official in the chief minister's office Friday said Aamir had written a letter to Nitish Kumar in this connection. "I urge you to work towards bringing about this dynamic revolution of making generic medicines easily available across the state of Bihar," Aamir said in his letter to Nitish Kumar.
Mika, Shaan together in movie?
Popular Punjabi singer Mika says he is set to feature in a film titled "Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaye", which will also star singer Shaan. "My friend Sunil Agnihotri (director) is making a film in which he had cast Shaan. Later, (production banner) T-series said 'If you club Shaan and Mika, it would be great.' So we are doing a movie," Mika told IANS. "I am happy that someone thought that I can work in their film. The name of the film is very funny," he added.
I don't believe in showstoppers: Pallavi Jaikishan
Veteran designer Pallavi Jaikishan says she has never believed in the concept of inviting Bollywood celebrities as showstoppers, and she will continue to maintain her mantra at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2012 too. "I go according to the international system where designers do not have showstoppers. Only models who are professionals are part of my show. I have maintained this for the past 40 years," Jaikishan told IANS.
