The third edition of Delhi International Jazz Festival starts in the capital March 15 and this time it will be four-day event instead of three. Organised by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the music fest will feature musicians from 10 countries around the world. Encouraging jazz music, the festival will also have some renowned Indian musicians performances. 'Mere Dad...' comes out with second music album
"Mere Dad Ki Maruti" (MDKM) has launched a second album for the film, which has its background scores. Produced by Y-Films, the youth division of Yash Raj Films, and directed by debutante Ashima Chibber, the film's new album is a collection of instrumental pieces. "Eleven new tracks from the film's background score have been launched digitally by Y-Films. It's not just a collection of instrumental pieces, but 11 tracks were originally scored for the film," said a source.

Indie pop place to shop for new talent: Adnan Sami
Singer-composer Adnan Sami feels that new independent singers and musicians should be encouraged and says Bollywood can find new talent in the Indie pop genre. "The face of today's Bollywood music is result of independent musicians who were allowed to come in. Composers, including me, are primarily those people who initially started independently," said Adnan told IANS.
Asha, Sudesh record retro style song for Makrand's film
Singers Asha Bhosle and Sudesh Bhosle gave voice to a song titled "Hum neend ka business karte hain" for forthcoming movie "Sona Spa". They have sung it in a retro style. Written and directed by Makrand Deshpande, "Sona Spa", based on a Hindi play, focuses on lack of sleep due to various reasons that altogether cause unhealthy and tiring life. Composed by Shamir Tandon, it is a promotional song for the movie.
