FashionLFW: Sailex's 'Garden Safaria' shows military influences
 Designer Sailex's collection showcased Sunday at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2013 was inspired from the military. The designer said that he usually doesn't like naming his lines but decided to name this one "Garden Safari". "My line has military and safari influences. I generally don't name my line but I decided to call this one 'Garden Safari'," he told the media. The show started with a great energy as the models walked to a peppy number. The clothes included pants, jackets, high waisted shorts, short dresses and gowns.
LFW: Rajat Tangri showcases geographic shape-inspired collection
 Inspired by the geographic shapes of the Earth, designer Rajat K Tangri showcased his collection Sunday at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2013. "My collection was called Geo. I was inspired by the geographic shapes and have tried to develop that in the embroidery on my clothes. You will see a lot of layering... the line has fluidity yet is structured," he told the media.

The designer feels that the concept of destination weddings is coming up in India and her collection catered to such stylized functions.
Naeem Khan makes his Indian debut with LFW
 Showcasing a spectacular collection that left the audience highly impressed, international designer Naeem Khan made his debut in India Saturday through Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort. The designer was ecstatic about being in India. "I am so happy to be here. This is like the highlight of my year," he said. Khan also added that India has a huge market and he was testing the reaction of people through this show. "I look at India as a huge market. I am testing the waters through this show. I really want to be here," he said.
Rocky S. showcases bold, sophisticated line
 Using his signature black, designer Rocky S. Saturday showcased a bold and sophisticated 'Romantic Fashion' collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2013. "I have used my signature colour black and jade green to break the monotony. Black is sensual, sexy and timeless. It is an amazing colour for women," Rocky said. The collection has short dresses and gowns in georgette, chiffon, satin, silk and net. He said the outfits were for women who wanted to "stand out".
