A major attraction of the second edition of Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW) 2013 was an offsite show by Jaipur-based designer Rohit Kamra, who showcased his menswear collection at the pool side area of the Fairmont hotel. From designer Jodhpuri jackets, Nehru collar jackets, perfectly paired with fitted trousers and formal shirts, Rohit's menswear line represented elegance and style. The formal suits, cuff links studded with precious stones like emeralds and rubies, handmade jeweled buttons, and brooches enhanced the look of the outfits.
Vikram Phadnis opens RFW 2013 with traditional outfits
The second edition of Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW) 2013 began at the Fairmont here Friday with Mumbai-based designer Vikram Phadnis showcasing Rajasthan's traditional outfits and accessories for both men and women. In line with the theme "Recreation of Kali," the collection was designed keeping in mind a modern woman who is confident, bold and independent. The collection for women was a perfect blend of modern and traditional silhouettes. It comprised vibrant ghaghra cholis (ankle length skirts and blouses with duppattas), floor length designer anarkalis, saris and kurtas.

American TV personality Giuliana Rancic decided to opt for Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock's creation at the annual Met Gala in New York. The Met gala is one of fashion’s biggest nights and this year kicked off the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring exhibition “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” Monday. The 38-year-old Rancic, known for hosting award shows, was seen in a nude full length gown featuring beaded detailing.
