'Maharana Pratap' to open with Big B's voice

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will narrate a part of the opening episode of forthcoming show “Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap”.

The 70-year-old veteran has earlier lent his baritone to films like “Parineeta” and “Jodhaa Akbar”.

Based on brave Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, the historical drama will go on air starting May 27 on Sony channel.

TV actor Ravi Dubey may not be so romantic as a person, but he doesn't miss a chance to praise his actress-girlfriend Sargun Mehta who, he feels, is notches higher in maturity compared to him.

"Sargun is younger than me, yet she is one of the most mature individuals I have come across in my life. I think she is very wise and mature," the 29-year-old actor told IANS.

New show focusses on 'nanad-bhabhi' bond

An upcoming show titled "Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi, Meri Bhabhi" will focus on the bond between a sister-in-law and daughter-in-law.

The show, set to go on air on Star Plus in June, will feature stars like Kanwaljeet Singh, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Vipul Gupta, Kanchi Kaul, Rohit Sagar, Sweta Gautam, Esha Kansara and Vipul Gupta.

"Meri Bhabhi" is likely to replace the show "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai", which focused on the relationship between two sisters.

TV actor Ravi Dubey, who is replacing Mohit Malhotra as the host of "India's Dancing Superstar", says he will make sure he establishes a personal connect with the contestants, judges and audience as it makes the job of an anchor easier.

"A host is someone who becomes a middle ground between everybody. The entire flow of the show goes through the host. So I am going to focus on interpersonal relationship," the 29-year-old told IANS.
