Rapper Taboo to perform at F1 after-parties

The multi-talented rapper Taboo, member of American hip-hop band Black Eyed Peas, is all set for his maiden performances in India and says that he is really looking forward to soak up the spirit and charm of the country.

The second edition of Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix is scheduled Oct 26-28 in Greater Noida and the international pop-star will perform at the F1 after-parties, organised by Amber Lounge at Claridges, Surajkund, Faridabad.

Actress Payal Rohatgi believes Twitter is the best social networking site for actors because it offers privacy.

"I think it's (Twitter) the best way (to interact) and one doesn't get intimidated because there is privacy on Twitter. People cannot just go and write anything on your wall," the 31-year-old said here Wednesday at the screening of the film "Login".

"I think it's the best platform in terms of social networking sites for an actor," she added.

Directed by Sanjeev Reddy, "Login" talks about the hazards of internet and social networking sites.

'Maryada Ramanna' likely to have Tamil remake

Its Hindi verison is getting ready for a Diwali release as "Son of Sardar" and most probably S.S. Rajamouli's Telugu blockbuster "Maryada Ramanna" will also have a Tamil remake.

"The film's rights have been bought by Prasad. V. Potluri and director R. Kannan is likely to direct the project in Tamil, but nothing is official as of now," a source told IANS.

"Maryada Ramanna" starring Sunil and Saloni Aswani, a remake of Buster Keaton's 1923 English film "Our Hospitality", has already been remade in Kannada and Bengali.
