"Bridal Registry assists the would-be couples in conveying their wish lists to their guests. It also makes for an easy selection for the guests to gift something that will be appreciated by the couple, who is getting married," said Dinaz Madhukar, vice president, DLF Emporio.

Ace detective "Feluda" dropped his 0.32 Colt revolver to pick up the microphone, lending his baritone voice to English interpretations of Rabindranath Tagore's songs.

Prolific Bengali actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, famed for playing private investigator "Feluda" in the film versions of the novels of Satyajit Ray, directed by Ray's son Sandip Ray, released an audio compilation of Rabindra Sangeet by Maitreyee Chakraborty.

The English translation of the Tagore lyrics are in Chakrabarty's rich baritone.

India's growing tribe of independent filmmakers lack viable platforms and the right distribution structure to push their growth, says debutant director Shailja Gupta, who took the online route to release her film "Walkaway".

"Walkaway", which mocks at the social obligations entrapping young Indian professionals settled in New York, had a modest release in the US in October 2010. But Gupta failed in her attempts to have it screened in Indian theatres.

Then, online was her only option.

Bipasha Basu admits she has given her best shot for Vikram Bhatt's "Raaz 3" and says she doubts if she can deliver a better performance than this.

"For me, in my filmography of work, this is the most challenging role I have done and I don't think I can get better than this," said Bipasha.

"Everyday was a struggle, I was emotionally drained, exhausted. I wanted to finish it soon because it was really disturbing me," she added.

"No matter how much I try to blend it, I am never able to blend it in. I have accepted that and am celebrating it," she added.
